My CD Uncle is in town and I want to come out to him any advice

I have known for a few years that my uncle is one of us. He does not know that I CD. I would like to tell him while he is in town, Anyone have any advice on how to bring this up in conversation??

Raychel - Does your uncle know/suspect that you know about him? If he doesn't, it might make him more self-conscious to bring up the subject. Maybe say that you're thinking about going to a costume party dressed as a woman to break the ice.

if he is a trustable person (meaning if you have not told others) then take him aside, maybe "run an errand for that forgotten item" and have a little chat.

If your uncle is aware that you know about him, then I think it would be wonderful of you to share this news about yourself. I would just find a quiet moment when you two are alone and just start telling him about yourself, or by asking him a couple simple questions, such as "when did you start?" or "when and where do you dress?" Then just take it from there as he responds.

If he's in the closet, and you know about him without his knowledge, then I would respect his privacy and not say anything about his crossdressing. Of course, you could still tell him about your own CD'ing, but don't be surprised if he doesn't respond in kind. Old habits and old fears are sometimes tough to overcome when suddenly confronted.

You say you know of him wearing dresses so he isn't going to say anythink you don't want to hear, is he........Go on love talk to him, you are closer than he really thinks of the two of you........You know he dresses but he dosen't know about you! Thanks for all of your sugestions. Unfortunatlty the opertunity has passed this time. He is leaving from his hotel room in the morning for his return trip. We never had 2 minutes alone for any discusions. I will be planning a trip to his house before long and then I will tell him. Well that is it for now. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.
