Longest time in a dress ever!

Hey all.I had a wonderful night last night.I had the place to my self so I shaved and tried on a few outfits finally settling on a long flowing black swishy dress.I put on my flats,donned my wig complete with bow and felt very pretty.Usually I'll wear makeup if I have a few hours where I know I wont be interrupted but I'm always in a rush because I worry about getting it all off for fear of someone seeing that little bit of eyeliner goop I always seem to miss! Anyways last night I decided no make up just enjoy the sensation of being dressed.It was really lovely.I put on some girly music,had a bit of a dance around,tried on some accessories just had a relaxed time.I even walked out of the bedroom for the first time ever.My lounge is very open to the neighbors view but I turned most of the lights off and had a wander around and tidied up the bench and made a coffee.I loved the way my shoes sounded clacking on the lino as I walked,only a small thing but it sounded so womanly.My dog looked at me pretty oddly and I'm sure he was wondering WTF!I took some snaps to show you all but unfortunately I realized I had no way to get them off the sd card to upload.Maybe next time.I suppose I would have spent a good 3 hours dressed up and when it came to change I must admit I was a little sad.It would have been wonderful if my wife was there,and we could have been girls together.I still haven't lost hope that on day it will happen.

Once you put a dress on, it's hard to take it off. It took my wife some time to get usd to me dressed and she has. DOn't give up on your wife bcause she may accept Kate.

I am so pleased to hear about your wonderful time as Kate. It is a lovely feeling to be dressed as you wish without interruption. I understand the feeling of getting caught out however I have ventured into the back yard and put the garbage out. So sad when one has to revert to reality.

My wife knows about my CDing and I dress when she is present, however she is still not fully accepting. She has come along way with small steps and patience on my behalf. The next big step is buying a wig (which I hope she will assist with) and the much later, and even bigger step, the breast forms. Requal.

Sounds like a great relaxing night. Why bother with makeup if it causes more stress than needed? Most GG don't put on makeup if they are staying in all night and chilling out.

On a practical note, if you are not fully open to your wife yet, be careful where that SD card you mentioned is kept!

Better part of one night playing video games while in some sort of leopard print blouse/skirt combo with heels and hose. It was fun but started getting hot. Particularly the wig but also the panty area.

But not really a dress. Hmmm, maybe 3 hr?

I very much enjoyed your post. I love that you focus on the feelings of being dressed. You said that you felt pretty and it was a really lovely and relaxing time. That sounds so great because that is how I feel about my dressing too. I was especially focused on the feelings when I first started to come out of the closet. I think some CDers like to get caught up in how they look in the mirror, which is fine, but for me it's all about "feeling pretty" .. not so much needing to look pretty (at least in my case it is).

I did feel a little sad though when you said "It would have been wonderful if my wife was there,and we could have been girls together" as I am very fortunate to have been in this situation with my wife and I feel sorry that you haven't been able to experience this with your wife (yet). I'm glad you haven't lost hope that one day it will happen because maybe it will. My wife says that for her CDing was a bit like trying new food, you have to have try it at least 10 times before you start to get a liking for it. Maybe over time your wife will become more comfortable and who knows that evening of "two girls together" will happen. Good luck.

Great post - I really enjoyed it but next time - if possible, close the curtains and turn on the lights. Its great fun walking around outside the bedroom, with or without approval of you SO. More fun than walking outdoors as the fear ruins the fun.

Can't u simply slide your SD card into your computer to load photos? I thot they all did that now?

Kate, surprising what a few hours in a dress can do for a guy huh? Sounds like a nice evening, sorry you had to spend it alone.
Although I do enjoy when the wife is away. and I have a few hours alone, it gives me a chance to experiment, when the wife is home I worry to much about presentation.
I hope you get another chance for a long dressing time, with the wife joining you, there really is nothing better than sharing that time with a loved one.

I know the feeling well. You go girl. I now have good relationship with my wife. She gives me all day Daviolin days. Where I can get up in the morning and start the day as Daviolin. Then just do things around the house that need to be done. I usually start with lounging around in pretty sleep wear, while having my morning tea, and breakfast. Then change into something cute as a house wife. Then change into something more elegant for dinner. Than the evening just girl out to the max, and play dress up all night. Sometimes we watch a movie and I like to dress in the mode of the movie. I love period movies the best. Its fun putting together the outfits. Sorry for all the babbling on. I sure love it though. Thanks for all the nice thoughts and input.Amazingly enough my wife and I had the place to ourselves last night and around bedtime she dressed me up in her bra and panties with the lights on !!!!! I've had the bra on by itself and the panties on by themselves but never together and never with the lights on.It must be good karma.Afterwards we had a chat.I told her how much it meant to me that she was getting involved and I told her of my previous nights dress up session and I think she seemed ok with it.She was a little freaked out when I said I was walking around in the kitchen though.She thinks the neighbors are going to be wondering who woman with the black bob is!
