It's late, I'm bored and can't sleep, soo here's my dumb post

All I need is one little letter from my Dr to go to Brassard then I can schedule. She said she would fax it "that day" Brassards office has not received anything, ugh!
I've called several times and left a message, no response.
I just want to schedule SRS is that too much to ask?

I have to admit, and I know this is really whiny but..., I'm tired of transitioning! I just want to be done with it so I can move on with my life. It's been like 3 years, sheesh!

Is that the clearance letter or medical background one?

I understand April.

I scraped up the deposit for my SRS & BA date with Dr. Suporn on March 27, 2014 and sent it this last week. I think we all get to the point where we are ready to be done with all this transition mess and just be. I know I am ready for all the drama, mis-naming, and mis-gendering to be over. I have to get my letters from my therapist and Dr., the therapist is working on hers and my Dr. has said she will write it for me.

For those of you who can't be yourselves, we've been there and there are different stages or seasons in transition and not one is easier that the other. They have their own issues and stresses involved. Even when we have our surgeries there will still be some of the same old problems to deal with as well as more new ones to add to the list.

So go ahead and vent April. :)

And April, talk to me about six months after the surgery..... about what ends and what begins.....

When I was waiting for my HRT letter, a couple of gentle reminders to my therapist always got a 'I'll pop it in the mail tomorrow', response. A few days later, her answering service said she'd gone on holidays. Two weeks later she called and said she'd mailed it.
Sometimes we have to remind ourselves that no matter how experienced in TS matters a cis-gendered person is, they can never understand our need to get things rolling. The waiting can be interminable.

I remember when I went in to get my letter to start HRT my therapist was leaving for a 4 week vacation and forgot to wright it. I said I would wait that day for her to fill it out, no she said I'll get it to you after I get back, 4 weeks? The bad part I was going in to my first appointment to see an endocrinologist. Luckily he started me without the letter but asked to send it after I got it. The waiting game sucks.

Waiting to be done with transition so you can move on?
Life is what happens while we are waiting for other things to happen.

 and I thought it was just my therapist who dragged it out
