I saw this on a website and thought it was pretty cool. The person who posted it said that the sign was at his church. I wonder what church he goes to?!

Most places just call it a "family restroom", and can be used for a number of good reasons.
- dads that need to accompany their daughters, or moms and sons
- shy folks
- crossdressers
Lots of others, I'm sure. It's a good idea, but they may become just another available place to go, making it unavailable for those who need it.

I just watched a segment on the CBC News Channel (Canadian Broadcasting Corp.) that the University of Alberta has converted it's Handicapped washrooms (18 on campus) to Trans Gender Neutral / Handicapped washrooms. Shows a pretty substantial shift in public acceptance, especially in Conservative Alberta. Nice to see!
