Don't feel bad. Lurking before jumping in isn't all that uncommon. I did it myself as I tend to get a feel for how things go on any message board before jumping in with both feet. Now that you are in, post away and I hope you enjoy your stay!

Lurking is not such a bad way to get a feel of a place... people sometimes notice my join date and number of posts and comment that it took me a while to start participating.

Yeah, it did :) Welcome, it's pretty nice here.

I lurked here for about a year before I registered a name. Then I lurked for about another year before I made my first post. And I guess since I can go weeks or months without making a post I am technically lurking still. Sometimes its better just to sit back and listen(read) and learn.

been luring here for a bit, I know many of you a bit better than you know me, but hoping now that will change.

I also lurked for a few months before joining, living in the closet for so long sometimes the door gets a little rusty. Sounds like we are living the same life. Welcome!

*Goes and sits in the corner hoping no one will see her...*
I don't like it. All these people looking at me and not posting...

Lols. I'm kidding, welcome to you. It's nice to hear you have someone at your side who accepts it :-)
