People say "Yes Mam" when i'm on the phone!

I have a voice problem that when i call someone they always say mam to me!
I'm a lifelong crossdresser, not passable, but my voice is! Today's call was exciting! I had even gave my male account name and they still said mam! :-)

I experience the same thing, being called Ma’am on the phone and I’ve been addressed as Ma’am on the phone for decades. What’s funny is that I went en femme to company Halloween parties on four different occasions and my supervisor (a GG) always said that I could pass – right up to the point of my opening my mouth and saying something. I have always wondered why I sound feminine on the phone but not in person.

it's happened to me a couple of times and each time i had goose-bumps running down my body and my head felt dizzy. i felt like telling them to repeat that. so heavenly. otherwise i am told by ggs that i have a very nice soft voice
