:nailbiting: Pretty much sums up how I feel about coming clean to my boss at work tomorrow. It is just a meeting with her, I am glad it's a her btw as I relate better to women, to set up some kind of schedule and set a date for Rachel to walk into work. It will be a great weight and a big relief of anxiety. I have been thinking about it since the day I set up the appointment with her last Thursday. It's been the longest 5 days of my life.
Both the wife and I have signed the divorce agreement as to how things will be split and who gets what of the fincancial part of it. So with that part of my life behind me I suppose it's time to get on with MY life.
Hugs

Did you at least send her an e-mail explaining WHAT you wanted to discuss?
I sent my boss a similar e-mail about 4 weeks ago, and I was actually a bit overwhelmed at how quickly things have been moving. Even though I really want this, part of me is still in shock, almost wondering if it could really be true.

That's almost exactly what will happen. When you create the space for new possibilities, your REAL SELF will begin to attract what's right for her. This includes new friendships, new relationships, and new circumstances. As painful as it can be to let go of the things our drab selves have attracted, what comes in their place is often beyond anything we could have anticipated.

I know that it is a very daunting experience but you will get through it and feel a lot better once you have told your boss and things start to happen. My wife and I also recently separated so I understand what you are going through. In my limited experience it is well worth pursuing despite what you have to do to get there. Although I still have a long way to go myself.

Ok all that nailbiting was for naught. The boss who works at three offices couldn't make it today so I was relieved but not for the reason I wanted. :(

No I didn't email her I feel it is better to do face to face. She seems like a nice person and if the shoe were on the other foot that is how I would like the person to tell me. I will keep creating space for the REAL ME.
Thanks Steph I will keep that in mind.
Peace, love and understanding to all

Good luck, Rachel. I do hope that it all becomes a positive experience.

Every story that someone posts about coming out at work just makes me more nervous about my future moment. Hope yours goes well!

My boss BB did get back to me last week and apoligized for not making it but an emergency came up that she had to attend to. Now I am at Myrtle Beach for 8 days but she promised me she will help me through this even though she is leaving our office in favor of another one that pays more and is closer to her home. She told me to let her know when I will be back and what day will be good for me. She suggested that we invite our local union rep to sit in just for my protection going forward. This way he will know about it should any problems arise in the future. I told her that if she trusts him and thinks that is best then that is what we shall do. I also told her that I ask for HER help because I trust her judgement.
