I saw the endocrinologist today. Spiro and estrogen will be mailed by the VA. They said I should have them within five days.

I must remember to not run a race here. Ladies stroll.:daydreaming:

Leah

I know you can't wait. My DR e mailed the prescription to the pharmacy and I picked them up on the way home. I took first dose in the car at the drive up window.

Is camping by the mailbox allowed there Leah? :)

I wish! Unfortunately, I have to head out in the truck yet tonight. I'll be home Thursday night. Then I'll handcuff myself to the mailbox.

I used to use handcuffs for something fun, but it's been so long, I forgot what it was!

Hugs,
Leah

I went straight to the pharmacy from the endo. If I didn't have to stick a patch to my behind, I would have started in the car.

We got the job done in one day, so made it home this afternoon. The Spiro was in the mailbox, but no estrogen. Still, I raced inside to take the Spiro.

I finally got a seat on that train!

Hugs,

Leah

Congratulations Leah! Yes hun, you're on the train, and what a relief I'll bet. I think I could tell something was different after about three days on spiro. Might have been psychological, but whatever, you know? I think knowing I made the decision, then actually acted on it was a huge relief and a powerful motivator to continue on with the journey. It just keeps getting better, too, at least for me. Hugs dear, Ann

I noticed strong psychological effects immediately. Long before anything kicked in, I already felt much better, just knowing I was on the train.

The estrogen arrived today, and I'm almost euphoric! Just having them has given me a sense of well-being. A dress I bought on ebay arrived as well, so that could help make me feel downright giddy!

I "know" it's going to be a long journey and strange and wonderful (and some NOT so wonderful) things are going to happen to me. (Pause and deep breath here) Let's go!

Hugs,
Leah
