View Full Version : How much do you crossdress?

Hi girls! I've been crossdressing ever since the age of 8...or even earlier and my question to you is: just how much do you crossdress, I mean, is it like something you do every now and then or every chance you get? Almost as...whenever you're home...or not working you're fully dressed? I'd never go all the way cause society can't accept transsexual people, and due to that fact life can become pretty complicated so... I think I can enjoy my "girl" side without surgery..just enjoying my time at home, or maybe even outside...But the fact is this is something unchangeable doesn't matter what, I'm always gonna be a girl as much as I'm a guy!

I appreciate your thoughts!!!!!

Have a nice day!

I fully dress and go out 1-2 times a week in general. I also dress up at home when trying to put together an outfit or outfits for my next time out. I seldom partial or full dress just to stay home. Though recently I have been. I am also very happy and content in male mode and so far my baggage is pretty empty and I don't have to work too hard to carry it around.

PS: I just noticed that this is your first post. Welcome to the Forum and enjoy your stay. It would be cool if you could write a brief intro/introduction for the Forum section of the same name and let us know something about you.

I get to dress 1 or 2 days per week when I'm off and my wife is working.

It varies. Sometimes I do it twice per week or more, sometimes I can barely manage once. It depends on how I'm feeling and what else I have going on.

I just posted as a Facebook status update, "When it's laundry day and the laundry basket you use for your 'girl clothes' is full...you KNOW you've had a good week." :)

Typically I find I am dressing twice a week. I'm retired with a working wife, so I could dress five times a week when school is in session (wife's a teacher). When I first retired I found the pent up demand had me dressing as much as possible, which sometimes interfered with getting "boy" jobs done. Now I find splitting my time between male and female modes works well.

I'm allowed to dress 5 times a week and mostly do that except when we have to mind the grand daughter , because my daughter has to work usual happens in the weekend, when I dress I fully dress but do not use makeup and nail polish ever day

I try to dress as much as I can. But I work a lot and the wife is also home. But when the opportunity arises I dress. If I had my way I would dress full time.

Dany,
I dress quite often you do not need to dress any more than you desire.
It is not a competition and I consider it a recreational activity.
Just enjoy the moments you get. Things seem to progress later in life and you may want to dress more frequently.

I'm in something everyday, even if it is underdressing. Up until a couple of weeks ago, I was able to dress full out at least twice, maybe three times a week. But because of recent changes, I have to limit full out dressing to about once a week if I'm lucky. ~sad Dalva~

I'm unattached and free to dress as much as I please. I go to a club at least once a week, often go out to dinner, etc another time during the week, and go visiting once a week. I'll even dress and stay around the house occasionally on a slow week. That's about all the girdles, bras, and heels I'm willing to put up with for one week!

Twice a month used to suffice. It often takes takes me days or weeks to collect the items for my sessions.

However, I'm up to around once a week now!

I'm lucky to work at home, and at this point I live alone. So I work en femme nearly every day. At this point I have to say that it's more habit than need, which is an interesting place to be considering the angst I had about dressing for the first 50 years of doing it. I have to thank everyone in this forum and what I've learned here for my growing self-acceptance...

Be well,
Lee

Hi Dany!

Welcome to the forum! Please do go over to the Introductions and Reintroductions section and tell us a bit more about yourself.

I agree with Beverly Sims, while it is interesting to know that we very widely, from some who rarely dress to some who are 24/7, this is not a competition and you should only dress as much as you feel comfortable, there is no standard, there is no "normal."

For me? Let's see ... Eryn and I and our spouses spent the entire day today at the L.A. County Fair and then went out for dinner. Here's the plan for the coming week. Tomorrow (Monday) I plan to be dressed en femme for a visit to the doctor's office, lunch, and a ceremony honoring the deceased husband of one of my GG friends. Tuesday I have to be en femme to join a group of my GG ("genetic girl") women friends for lunch and a matinee movie followed by a group of friends who are getting together for dinner. Wednesday en femme for an early dinner with about 20 of my GG friends followed by a religious service we're attending. Thursday night is another event that I'm expected to attend in skirt and heels. Friday I have to be en femme for my standing manicure appointment.

Hope that helps.

Hugs,
Persephone.

I actually hardly ever dress. Maybe once a month or even Le ss then that. I tend to focus my time on other things that sometimes I just forget about dressing. But fir myself it's more of a hobby and something I enjoy not something I need to do. But when I do dress I have to go all out and feel like I'm perfect cus if not then I'm not happy. Oh also now that I actually went out during the day I'm dying to do it again soon!!!

Always during the weekdays (5 out of 7 days a week) when I work in my office.
The minimal wear is pantyhose as my nickname indicates.
All my feminine clothes are in my office, and I can't dress up when I'm home with my family.
They don't know my other self en femme.

Girl time is something that is always on my mind even more now with the cooler weather moving in. I do much more dressing this time of year but regardless I have to say I don't get out dressed or dress as much as I would like. If I could go all out and dress totally 4 or 5 times a month, and get out of the house 1 or 2 times, I think that would be my preference.

Have a nice day!

I vaguely remember being dressed as a girl by my mom when I was toddler. She also put off getting me haircuts. She wanted another girl (sister was 4 years older than I was). Dad stopped this practice when he found out. Mom want back to work when I was six, about a year later I was sexually abused and the sexual self identificaton problems started all over again as I was told that god made a mistake and I was really supposed to be a girl. Molestation and crossdressing continued together until often daily I was 14; then the abuser disappeared. By then, believed I was supposed to be a girl and crossdressed as often as I could. A few times during my life I stopped cold turkey when I was in close intimate relationships. But when alone, the urge to dress returned with a vengeance. I discovered when deprived of affection I felt the overwhelming need to crossdress. After divorce, often crossdressed every day. But it was ruining my life; I wanted a girlfriend. So I quit crossdressing this past may. I don't know how long it will last. But I'm trying the best I can. I will remain a crossdresser; but I will not crossdress today. And, I take it one day at a time.

I usually dress on my days off or my short days where I am home by noon. I'd say 2-3 times a week. I have noticed that I have seasons also. During the summer/spring/winter I do not dress that much at all but during the Fall it's every chance I get. I don't look at this as a hobby nor a full time gig but it does help me relieve some stress and get a better perspective on things.

I dress daily when work is done.
If it's my day off I'll sometimes dress all day particularly if the weather is bad (like mid-winter) since I won't have any outside work to do. As for going out it's usually a few times a month as I have a pretty full schedule with work these days.

I dress whenever I am doing office work at home or otherwise hanging out at home, maybe four days a week on average. I like to doll up and go out at least once a month. I don't go out dressed around the neighborhood nor for local shopping, nor when visiting children and grandchildren. I wear frilly nightwear in the evenings, but never to bed with my wife - that's her boundary, wear whatever I want except when we go to bed together, then she wants naked boy.

I don't have a schedule. Because of the situation I've gone for months withouth Tina and then suddenly she's there every other day. Tina is completely fastidious, so when I have a lot of detailed mental work to do, I'll transform as soon as I get home and let her take care of the work! So, full transformation is spotty and irregular, but I'm always underdressed to some extent. The other thing that never stops is taking care of Tina's body. The morning and evening ritual happen whether Tina is to appear or not.

When I'm off work I dress every day. When I'm working, three or four times a week. I just don't feel like changing every day. Well, if you count underdressing, then it's every day. And I always sleep in a nighty.

I wish I could do it more but unfortunately I only get to dress when the family is out of town. With 2 little ones those times are few and far between. Sometimes the urge gets so bad I find myself trying to find things for the family to do without me just for a few hours of dress up time. I've also found that under-dressing during the cooler months seems to help. Any chance I get I try to take advantage of. I have noticed that if I get a while by myself I tend to go farther and farther with my dressing. Wife usually scratches her head when she comes back from a week at her sisters :-) Good thing I have her around to keep Mishell at bay.

My dressing is split into the time I have aviable. If my GF (like this weekend) is not home for a longer period, i'll dress up fully with makeup. On normal week days where I only have a few hours before she comes home from work, i'll just suffice with putting on some clothes, shoes and perhaps the wig. However I try to do it as often as possible. For the past 1½ month i've dressed up on allmost every occasions that i've had, however there has been some days where I couldn't be bothered.
I wouldn't mind having more time to dress up fully :)

So in short, as often as possible :)

I underdress every day panties nylons, toes painted. But since i travel almost every week i do get to fully dress a few times a week. When home it is tuff since we have kids but if they are not around then the Wife will ask am i going to get to see Laura today?? Well i can assure you she never has to ask twice lol.

I dress about once a month at most, if I'm lucky. I only enjoy dressing if I can do it all the way, including wig and makeup, so I only dress if I know I'm going to have plenty of uninterrupted time, usually when I travel for work.

To some degree daily. Fully and out for the night, rarely. Underdressing is about to become easier as the cooler temps approach. Just means fur lined panties with the minis.

I dress pretty much full time at home, I go out regularly during the day, whether its around the neighborhood or the local Starbucks, and I'm out to several business associates. My last guestimate puts me around 70% en femme to 30% male mode.

Rachel Morley
09-23-2013, 07:17 PM
When I dress fully I am almost always going out somewhere to socialize. Pretty much all my friends are in the community and so I spend pretty much all of my social life en femme. Lots of my friends only know me as Rachel. This translates to me going out en femme about 4 times a month, mostly on the weekends but not always. I rarely dress fully just to stay in at home. I do however like to watch TV every night in some very girly PJs and nothing much else i.e no makeup, wig or forms.

It used to be 4-5 days a week and now it is down to amost never. My hours have changed at work so I don't have the freedom ( or an understanding/tolerating wife). I mostly underdress as much as I can.

I try to dress and go out at least 2-3 times a month. I used to be able to dress at home 2-3 times a week for the entire day. But, now that my wife is retired and home almost every day my time is severely restricted. She is OK with my dressing, but I'm not as comfortable with it when she is home. I give her credit though because she does not object when I dress to go out and usually I start the next morning still wearing make up and my forms, with no objection from her. IT is just a matter of reaching a balance with her's and my comfort levels.

I'm not sure if it's how much you dress as it is how well you do it. I used to have a lot more time to dress but my circumstances have changed in that I don't do it nearly as often as I used to or as much as I might like to.I did gain a lot of experience from those times, however. The main thing is to optimize the time I do have and when that happens I give it my best efforts and now it's not as much a CDing experience as it is an event. When I do it nowadays, it's like my byline states, I enjoy "Quality Girl Time". ;):battingeyelashes::)

It depends how you define crossdressing really. Nowadays I wear some basic female clothes such as underwear, t-shirts, tops etc, every single day. Would like to go a lot further, but unfortunately I live at home and my mother is an old person from a traditional generation who refuses to understand/accept crossdressing or anything like that at all. Have had some major arguments about it before. Even going downstairs in a skirt, say, is problematic if my mum sees it. I've unfortunately mostly always lived in this same neighbourhood (though it's a nice enough area), and that's another problem. Can't go out dressed as I'd like because there are too many people around who might recognise me. Very annoying. :(

I haven't 'come out' to anyone, but my wife knows, having several times discovered femme items in bags &c and binned them, nothing said. There are too many people living at home just now, so ME time is perhaps once per month if that, at the moment.

Being in the closet, I can not fully dress as much as I would like. but have been able to do so a number of times this year as the GF has been away on holiday and I have had some time to myself. when I do not have much time, which is a couple times a month I tend to only wear a few items like a jumber skirt and heels, which is nice and keeps the cravings at bay.

Just as many here that have the opportunity, every time the opportunity presents itself.

Everyday after coming home from work, generally three out of five days... unless I'm too tired to enjoy it... usually two out of five days. On my two days off, all day, each day.

The time I spend crossdressing (IOW, when I'm not at work, or exhausted by working overtime), is, roughly, all of it!

I crave it, enjoy it immensely , and always wanna be doin' it...

I'm lovin' life! :)

In my younger, single-again days, I lived alone in an apartment (no yardwork to do), I dressed 3-4 times a week and went out 1-2 times a week. Income was good, expenses low, extra money to buy things. Like was good, but eventually a wife and child came along, a different life happened, and opportunities dropped sharply. It's better now, but just do it occasionally. When I dress, it's the works or nothing most of the time.

How much, how often... it varies. Some people assume I'm a full time CD when they see my photos, but that's way off. Let's just say that within a week I'm dressed for a total of a few hours or less. I always wear a wig when I dress, and I love makeup but it takes too long.

I used to have the opportunities to dress up to four or five times a week. I knew it was a wealth of riches, and that it was always possible to lose that. But I had no idea how much of it I could lose. My wife (non-accepting spouse) now works from home, and my opportunities have diminished to as little as once a month. Sigh.

She's going on vacation for a week next week. I plan on spending much of the time dressed.

I'd like to say that I'd dress often but not so. Because I have been traveling for business with others, and my wife is at home, my dressing is extremely limited. Many times,MIT is just sneaking a pair of panties for a few hours. However, I think life will settle down soon and I hope that I will be able to dress more completely and more often. It's been ages since I have put on a bra, pantyhose and a slip. Fortunately, I have ,y stash well hidden and it is just waiting for an opportunity

Marcelle

For me it varies depending on the week. I will dress full (I consider full to include make-up) once or twice a week depending on what is going on (dreaded yard work and such). I have had some holidays in the past month and have dressed full quite a bit more in an effort to improve my presentation.

During work weeks, I will normally partially dress at night. Clothes, wig, no make-up as it allows me to continue with working on my presentation (gestures, walk, voice) without the hassle of make-up . . . that can look some scary though :heehee:

I wear panties every day, sometimes a bra under the right outfit. I have found certain styles of nylons that work well for me under my drab male work clothes. That is about it during the work week, although I do sleep in pretty chemise sleepwear at night. On the weekend, I am very much girl, I love wearing a dress and I adore heels. As I live alone, I have a lot of latitude in how I dress. Some may find it funny, but I really do enjoy doing my housework in hose and heels, with a pretty dress on, of course.

I dress as Karen as much as I can get away with. I keep it within the closet, having never ventured out in public. About monthly I stay in a hotel and I'm Karen as soon as I close the hotel room door behind me and roll in my very heavy suitcase.

At home I have an adult son who still lives with me, so my activities are limited to the times he is working or going to college. But on an almost nightly basis (and this has been cause for discussion pro and con here before) I do doll up before I go to sleep, often wearing things not really intended for sleep, including dresses and heels. It gives me more precious time to be "Karen", even thought I am too asleep to fully enjoy it.

Everyday with full on undies. Alone at home, I'll wear whatever that piques my fancy that day from full evening dress to sweatpants. I buy a lot of female clothing that can pass for male clothes. When I go out its with male outer clothes but I try to get away with female jeans or pants which are not too feminine. Did the tight jeans thing once, not a fan of that! Been figuring how to go out with breast forms, I need a supersized outer jacket for that and then only to some places. Thank god winter is coming so I can get away with wearing jackets more often!

Hi, I mostly underdressed every day but it is hard to get to fully dress. There is really no good reason but it seems that there is always something that preempts it. Congrats to everyone who has the time and opportunity to do it. To dress fully and go out is the ultimate. I am still trying to get there.

I usually dress just on Saturday and Sunday nights. And I don't call the occasional
slip or panty girdle dressing, just fooling around. On the weekends I get fully
dressed, makeup and all, and for the last three years go out to the local trans
bar (gigi's) here in Detroit. If the crossdressers are there, I usually have a fun
time, but if the transexuals are there, there's usually some whispering and criticism
going on. But hey, we don't all live as females 24/7

I'm always wearing mostly women's clothing, but in the form of shorts, Capris, or jeans that can pass for male.

I go out en femme two or three times a week. Every few weeks I have the fun of spending an entire day or two en femme which I find very pleasant.

I try to dress as much as possible I normally have something on everyday, might just be 40%, or 65%, but today it was 110% dressed for 10 hours and I love it, even went for a drive in the daytime seen the pretty trees, and stop at the post office, hugs.

That's a good question. I have been sneak dressing since about 14-15 but now in my mid 60's and still working, I take advantage of the times when I can dress. Usually at least once a week but with the cooler weather would like to kick it up a notch. My SO kind of determines when is a good time. When I get home from work, she will have my top clothes laid out and I just grap the under ones and head for the shower. Dinner and the evening are spend in fem attire. Looking forward to Hallowen and have been dropping hints that we should take a ride for something to do. Small town, not to many exciting things to do. That would have to include the whole works, make up and all.

I haven't been dressing much at all the last few months, but soon I will have the house to myself all day, every weekday and I'll be dressing MUCH more! Can't wait!!!

All the time, I don't dress very feminine all the time, but I allways have makeup on when I go out and dress in womens clothes all the time.
