Geneva,
In Napier you would have to dress appropriately to blend in with the architecture.
I wonder what you would look like art deco?
Did you ever get your little mermaid imitation statue back.
I know it got pinched, for the scrap metal value I think.
I love Napier.
For the uninitiated Napier had an earthquake during the art deco period of architecture and most of the rebuilding was done in art deco style.
It is quite noticeable and they had a statue of the little mermaid similsr to the one in Copenhagen.
Some rotter pinched it for the scrap metal value.
I was not sure whether the vigilantes of Napier had recovered it.

We do have a week every year that they call the art deco weekend and every body dress in that style and drive in cars of that era.
Me and the family are involved in the weekend so I do dress up for that weekend I have several outfits from the 1920s,30s,40s which I wear, its so much fun.my best outfit is the flapper dress with accessories and we do have the statue back.

Very good, caught me out. Sadly I have to continue crossdressing as a man for now. I remember reading a post on a general public forum. The question was: 'What would you do if you woke up in the morning in the body of the opposite sex.' Reading all the various comments. I suddenly realised my I wake up in the body of the opposite sex every morning. It's overrated let me tell you!

You gave up crossdressing and just dress as yourself? Good for you! Seriously, it's great that you can truly present as who you are, not have to struggle with looking like someone you're not. Congratulations.

Sorry I can't jump on the bandwagon. But why would someone who is TS be expected to wear anything but women's clothing? And I don't get the congratulations. I don't get congrats for wearing women's clothes because I'm a crossdresser, and I would find it strange if I did. And why come to the MtF CDer forum to make such an announcement instead of the TS forum where your "accomplishment" would probably be better appreciated? (I know, you can post anywhere you want).

The genetic boy in me still loves to wear my regular clothes: the cargo trousers, hoody, stubbly face, walking boots, really, i love it. The problem I have is with formal. a shirt?! formal trousers?! aaagh horrible pleurgh ewww! and this is always when it's good manners to not to rock a frock. Like, was it Geneva? who started this thread anyway, referring to cross dressing as when you wear men's clothes. Choice, Bro! ;) Mostly at family weddings / Funerals I feel like a proper cross dresser in my eurgh yuk.. shirt and tie. I don't even look good i look like an uncomfortable narner. and people always tease me because I have no idea or no desire to put any effort into looking good in a suit.
