Sunday Confession!!!

Well what can I say? 2 revelations in one day!!!

First my middle teenage daughter announces that she's gay (her parents being the last to know, of course), which we accepted unconditionally. And in the spirit of honesty a had a grown up discussion with my eldest daughter about ME!!!.....not exactly a bombshell as she had known about my female side for some time. Turns out that she read a 'private' love letter I had written for her mum, which had something in it about my inner self.

So here we are today (Monday)...with a young daughter who's gay and me in a dress:)
All of a sudden we have an 'interesting' family dynamic.

In fact every one was just too cool about it???? No screaming, shouting, crying, just Oh! OK???...how easy was that!

its a great family. You're honest with each other and accepting of one another. your younger daughter will probably find out too, via her older sister, if she hasn't already. So, perhaps in the spirit of full disclosure, you need to let her know yourself. It probably won't come as that big a surprise, and she'll realize that she's not entirely unique in your household.
