Finally pierced my ears

So a couple of weeks ago my girlfriend made the comment "you would look good with your ear pierced. " I said sure, but I'm doing both. She said that was fine so last Monday I went in to Claire's and he'd it done. I absolutely love it. Unfortunately I woke this morning with an infection in one of my earlobes. *sigh* never anything simple. Off to the Dr's. after work tonight I guess ...

At first disinfect every 8 or so hour. Very important. I have to disinfect every time I change earrings or even put in ones after a day of none use.

I second what Briana90802 said. Be sure to keep them clean. After I got mine pierced, I cleaned the ears at least 3 times a day. Luckily, no problems at all. And don't rush the healing process by trying to wear "regular" earrings. Take your time. Just think how much fun it will be to buy all those cute, dangling earrings when your ears heal completely. You'll love it!!

You do have to watch out and clean the lobes regularly.
