I am so disgusted with myself. I realize that i have accumulated a bunch of stuff. I'm not talking girls clothes, although that is part of it. I am talking STUFF. I am single and live in a 3000 sq. ft. house and I have way too much STUFF!

I started last night and am cleaning out old clothes, books I will never read again, papers, bric-a-brac, glasses, coffee mugs, six suitcases, ten gym bags, etc.

My garage is even worse. I figure it will take several trips to Goodwill and the dump to dispose of all this STUFF!

Wish me well.

Sounds like you have a long day ahead of you lol It's not hard to accumulate a lot of things over the years, throw CDing into it and it's only worse lol We always tend to buy things we don't need and these corporations love us for it.

Hopefully your stuff will find a good home but I wouldn't take it to goodwill. Most people don't know this but they don't help anyone. They are a business that took the name to fool people. Basically people think they are donating things to a worthy cause but all your doing is stocking their shelves so they can profit without any stock costs.

Take them to salvation army if you want to really help someone out.

Just think of all the treasures you might find and not want to throw out

Chaos around you goes hand-in-hand with chaos in the mind, while getting rid of stuff promotes clarity. At least I've always found that to be true.
