Has anyone stayed at the MGM Signature in Vegas? Are they "trans friendly"? I was planning on going out dressed, but then found out that they have valet parking only, and that may deter me a little.

Just go for it unless you know some of the people who park the cars. Vegas really doesn't care and they are all about the experience and the money. You have the money they want, and they have the experience that you want. That is a win - win situation. Enjoy.

Allie is completely right - Las Vegas is a great place to get out and about - the usual rules of good sense still apply of course (one doesn't go down dark alleys, etc) but you can wander about in public to your heart's content - few people will take any notice, and those who do simply won't care - indeed, the casinos are probably the safest places in the world for a CD: there's tons of security, everybody knows that they're being observed on video, the staff literally pays no notice beyond being polite and helpful. So you can let your innèr woman out and just enjoy!

MGM has a 5 star reputation with most LGBT publications and groups. The Luxor is part of the MGM group and just hosted "gay Days" Go have fun

I have not stayed at MGM in vegas, but haven't had problems with Riveria, Planet Hollywood, La Quinta, the Westin behind Ballys, Four Queens on Freemont, Paris, and some others I can't remember. Valet park all the time.
I feel like I can walk around that town like I own the place :P

Vegas is a theme park for adults.
Like Disneyland for the little children, in Vegas they cater for the big ones.
It is always have a great time, time. :)

I was just out in Vegas last week with my wife. I shopped during the day and went out at night, all as Suzanne. I had no unpleasant encounters and was treated warmly everywhere I went. Go for it!

I think you'll find nearly every hotel in Vegas is going to be valet parking only (at least most of the hotels along the strip).
I've stayed at the MGM Signature and it's a very nice hotel for the price - and away from the hustle and bustle that you find in most of the hotels with casinos.
That was one of the things I liked about it - you went from the hotel lobby right out to your car - no huge casino to walk through.

I have stayed at the Signature very nice rooms, great hotel. Always drab there on my visits. You are correct it is exclusively valet and only Tower 2 is 24 hour valet. This means that if you are in Tower 1 or 3 and get back late you will walk to your tower. If you are confident being out, I am sure they will treat you respectfully. On past visits I stayed at the Westin Causarina enfemme and had a great time. Vegas is indeed pretty open. Have fun, be safe.
Las Vegas is Money-Friendly. If you are spending money they are quite friendly! :)
I love valet parking while I'm dressed, Not only does it reduce how far I have to walk in heels, it also invariably brings a greeting of "Hello ma'am, welcome to ...." which is good for my ego!
