View Full Version : The Comedy of Living This Life

My "twin brother" and "his" best friend, whom we'll call Norman, spent the day cleaning out our garage, sorting tools, hardware, and all of that stuff.

Norman left at 4:30 and 45 minutes later I was cleaned up, dressed, and going out for a Girl's Night Out with Norman's actual twin sister! (No, not him in a dress, he really has a twin sister).

My spouse and I, Norman's twin sister and her daughter headed to our favorite private club for a lovely dinner (with Cosmos!) and an evening of entertainment.

We gabbed, chatted, laughed and had a good time as we drifted around the club. Downstairs we ran into my son and his date!

He introduced his date to his Mom, and then just casually introduced the rest of us by our first names, using my femme name of course. After a couple of minutes we headed off our way and he headed off his.

The head swirling shifts and coincidences felt like something out of a Shakespeare comedy!

Glad you had a nice time I could only imagine your sons explanations of who was who afterwards to his date :) Bambi x

Barbara,
I used to mess with peoples brains like this sometimes.
It makes for an interesting situation.

Yep, plots and sub plots Barb. It can get quite interesting after awhile sometimes. ;):)

What a neat little story and what a perfect way for your son to handle the situation. It sure seems like a small world!

That's quite a mix. I'm glad you were able to keep it all straight!

It's wonderful that you are accept by all those folks! I haven't told my eldest son, by my younger son figured it out. My oldest son would have a stroke. My wife is cool with my dressing, she just doesn't want to see me when I'm dressed.

Persephone, your life is so busy and convoluted that I'd have a hard time keeping up with a scorecard! Still, it's fun and I'm glad you're making the most of it!

Thank you, ladies, for all of your nice comments!

Yes, Laura, it was kind of Midsummer Nights Dream meets Comedy of Errors.

And it gets even wilder! Today Norman contiued to help my "twin brother" with cleaning out the garage and, three hours later, he and his wife met up with my spouse and I (en femme) for dinner! We were joined by Eryn and her spouse, and my son was there as well.

Eryn is right, sometimes life gets pretty complex around here!

Hugs,
Persephone.

And we had a great time too! Those are the times I enjoy the most, just doing things with friends!

(Not to mention that we won the "drinking round!") :ms:

Thank you! Yes, I'm out to pretty much everyone except maybe a few relatives in distant places.

Norm has proved very interesting! Yes, he was the guy I posted about back in March, 2013 in a thread titled My Best Friend Is Watching Me Disappear (click here) (http://www.crossdressers.com/forums/showthread.php?192167-My-Best-Friend-Is-Watching-Me-Disappear&highlight=misogynist)

In that thread I wrote:

I was very afraid. He tends to draw big distinctions between men and women. Not that he is really a misogynist, far from it, he respects women, he sees them as equals, but different.

He is a “man’s man,” a “real guy,” and the notion that a guy would want to be a woman is about as far from his thinking as it is probably possible to get. Something along the lines of my having told him I was a space alien from Anteres.

Now, seven months later, we continue to be the best of guyfriends and we stil work on projects together and do "guy stuff" together. But he is also comfortable being with me en femme and we go placrs togther, sometimes with one or more of our spouses, sometimes just the two of us.

When out with me en femme he uses my femme name and appropriate pronouns and when out with me in guy mode he uses my male name and appropriatr pronouns.

But now, in either gender, he treats me a bit more like a lady, holding doors for me, lifting heavy objects, things like that.

And we had a great time too! Those are the times I enjoy the most, just doing things with friends!

(Not to mention that we won the "drinking round!") :ms:

I agree. And yes, thanks to you and Norm, we did win a free round of drinks!

Today Norm and my boyself continued thr garage project and then this evening my spouse and I (en femme) went out to dinner with our women's social group, about 25-30 women at two long tables.

Hugs,
Persephone.

Hi Barbara, I'm trying to work all of that out on a spread sheet.
