Got a job interview!

As I mentioned a few months back, retirement does not sit well with me. I'm restless. Of course, the ideal job would be one that transitioning right out in the open would be ideal.
I've been freelancing as a sound and lighting tech. Too much travel. I've also been doing some reno work, but all my good clients are eighty miles away, and I either have to bunk on the job, or drive a lot.
Today a gay bar, only 18 miles away, asked if I would like to be their front of house sound girl for all the live music, and supervise all the tech for their dance club. They want to chat on Friday.
Of course, they have no problem with my evolving presentation at all. 2 or 3 nights a week is exactly what I was looking for.
I haven't got the job yet, but they called me, and I'm super qualified, so I'll keep those fingers crossed.

I have a number of retired siblings and it seems that they all have found part time employment and volunteering opportunities. Of course the extra money helps, but I think ultimately, they just do need to keep busy.

Thanks to all you girls who replied to my job post.
I got the job at the gay club. It was my first time there, and I was very impressed. It is huge (guess 500 capacity). I will be house sound and lighting tech. They have some great bands booked, and the room should sound good. I'm psyched.

The LAST two people I have to come out to will meet the new me this weekend, and I will have (fingers crossed) no reason ever to present as ugly guy me anymore.
