Even after many years dressing I'm still amazed when I look at my self fully dressed. Don't know why this is.

Any of you still feel that way.

Dominique,
It is great to be amazed for such a long period.
As long as it leaves you warm and fuzzy inside. :)

Mostly from the aspect of the "smoke and mirrors" part. In other words how make up seems to work "wonders" to de-age us en femme. :battingeyelashes::)

Hi Dominique, The lady in the mirror always looks so happy to be dressed.

Amazed, astounded, gratified and all the opposites when the makeup comes off except for some lingering peace.

I wish I could, but I don't have any makeup, so I can't help but see a guy in a dress. I'm tempted to just cover the mirror and just leave it to my imagination.

I'm still amazed that my mirror doesn't get all cracked up when it sees me!

Yes, it is amazing to see the transformation! Karren, are you also amazed by the hockey player in the mirror? One thing, we know you won't ever see, is a lady in jeans in the mirror!LOL

Yes I totally love seeing my girly self in the mirror and in photos. Some call this autogynophilia, love of one's own female aspect, a condition that fits more than half of the human race.

I am quite pleased with how my made up face looks in the mirror (don't really bother with clothes at this stage apart from bra) but look godawful in the few photographs I've taken of myself. Spoilt the illusion and landed a blow to my self-confidence so until I learn to use a digital camera efficiently without it distorting my face horribly I'll be sticking with the mirror for the time being.
