The wife's starting to encourage me!

So I usually like to go out with the girls at the beginning of every month if I can.
Tonight the wife asked me, "hey are you going out to any of your events this week?" I said, "yes I would like to. Why do you ask?" I was thinking there was something else that might conflict with it....
She said, I just want to remind you its the beginning of the month and you won't want to miss out.
I said thank you so much and gave her a hug! Wow

I came out to my wife of three years three weeks ago. It was scary at first, but now she's at least trying to understand me. At first she made me think my sharing my secrets with her might end our marriage, which made me feel like an idiot, taking a chance on ending the greatest love I've ever know. That is great. My wife will do the same thing sometimes. If it's been a while since I've been out, she'll ask, "Do you have to get to a meeting this month?" She knows it is good for my peace of mind, but appreciates a heads up about what night I'm planning on being out. Since we have young kids, when I go out, that means more work for her.

Yep shes been out with me before. We were at a big Halloween party 2 weekends ago and 3 - 4 other times as well that were not costume parties. She would come more often to our girls nights at the bar but its not her thing to stay up late partying and competing with the TG girls. I am just starting to test the waters by going out during the daytime and that wouldn't bother her if we were out of town but she doesn't want to be outed. I'm more willing to take the chance so later on we'll see.

It's great to have an encouraging wife for support, but what she said was almost like she wanted you to leave. She is very encouraging and I think you have a keeper there.
