How many of you have a feeling that you completely or even partially suffer from "ocd"

I know I do. Partially that is. Certain things I like done a certain way and certain things I seem to do regularly, just keeps me in my comfort zone.

Do you think it is just a coincidence or do alot of "cds" feel his way?

The thought of the day for all of you.

I know I am "OCD", in fact if my set routine is broken I get very anxious. Then have to "CD" to calm down. Jaymee

I don't think a lot of CDs do?

Funny thing, I was described by the unit psychologist as "Functional OCD" which means you want me to be your brain surgeon or accountant but not your golf partner. :)

I'd say it's just coincidence.
My dad was partial ocd about some things and I think I got it from him, but it really doesn't relate to my dressing.

I tend not to dwell on it but I think we are all OCD about something.

Yes i have had severe OCD.I made a thread about this lately regarding my worry about compulsively purchasing new male and female wardrobe since i started CDing a year or so ago more than just panties and hose and lingerie.

I have been diagnosed with OCD at aged 15 (obsessions regarding contamination- one of the more common themes). It took me til 25 to get rid of alot of that OCD.I went through medication and CBT for it for years.

That was why i'm worried when i start wanting to buy so much because i wasn't recognising it as another form of OCD just in another guise for me.And OCD wrecked my life during that period.

If you think your OCD is spiralling out of control i'd advise to try get help before it does. But if it is milder and you can control it then that's cool.Apparently alot of people have a mildish form.

I know David Beckham, for one, says he does. Then again Howard Hughes did too and he was super rich but he was the other end of the spectrum too eventuqally- naked living in one room surrounded in bits of tissue paper.

I doubt that will ever happen Hon. I'm just as much of a slob as a woman as I am as a man. Maybe even more so. Never in any hurry to organize or clean until I get a roundtuit (whatever THAT is).:heehee::battingeyelashes::)

Not the slightest bit OCD about anything, well most things, well a lot of things, some things????? Actually, I prefer to self describe as being particular about things but never obsessive or compulsive, mostly, a lot of the time, really ;)

Hugs, Robin
