I mentioned in a thread I started a couple weeks ago that I was really starting to worry about a total lack of development, boob wise, after six months HRT. My Endo doubled my E 15 days ago. Within a week, one boob started to ache, and now the other. I have some pea size lumps behind the nipples.
Like the euphoria of the first day of HRT, when you feel that something is finally starting to happen, I finally feel like the girls might actually do something useful!
Despite lots of wishful thinking, and a thorough visual inspection, nothing to show yet, but I can feel it happening.
This is not a thread to spark all kinds of lively debate, just an update. I feel proud as a Kodiak watching her cub catch it's first salmon. At last the pep talks and pleading are paying off.
I never noticed before, how many times my cat launches itself off my chest at some imaginary spot on the floor. Ouch!
I'm off to VS to buy a bunch of 38DD bras.

I haven't had the slightest bit of itching. Is that common?

I don't know how common. I did have itchy ones to though.

And tingly skin to. That was actually kinda cool I miss that

Hmmm...okay.:D

It sounds like they just needed a kickstart there. You'll now have constant reminders they are there. Those double DD's will let you know if you take the stairs too fast! Ouch!

Mine itched on occasion, they tingled a lot - and sometimes still do.

And yea, I never realized how many things contacted my chest, like cats and boxes, and things I leaned on, until I had one under construction and contact hurt like the dickens. Beware an unexpected poke to those pea size lumps can cause a reflexive "yelp" an octave or two higher than you are used to making. People will turn and look . . . .

Hi Paula; Exactly !! I have the same "symptoms".....my nipples are sore as is the tissue beneath.I'm eight months into HRT and I'm well chuffed with the results.Yes,one has to be careful how one sleeps and not to bump the girls...like I did putting a sweater on 'toher day...owwwwww !
I have to look for a bra with a slightly smaller band size,42 and a B cup.Guess my chest has dropped a size as I used to take a 44,but that is way too loose now. I'm seriously considering not wearing my forms any more.I'll know by this afternoon.
Double DD bras !! I wish.....I hope I can coax the little devils out to a nice C size...any extra would be like winning the lottery.
Anyhow ,good on 'ya.

Yes some of the sensations are quite pleasant. Sometimes it is just an awareness that they are there, other times there is nothing at all not even any tenderness. Then suddenly they are really tender, then they itch, then they tingle....And there is no pea sized mass under them, it is more like a lemon sized mass.

Oh yes they seem to stay on high beams a lot of the time.

"High beams" - LOL!

I've reached the 80-20 rule point. When someone looks in my direction, 80% of the time it includes a look at my chest. It's about 50-50 on whether it's my face or chest FIRST ...

And God save me from DDs. No desire for that whatsoever!

Not wishing to hijack this thread;just an update on the bra fitting. Purchased a lower priced 42 B cup,no wire bra.The girls fit pretty decent .....the bra seems tighter ,but I imagine it's because my others fit too loose. No forms !!Still look good...I'm well chuffed.Hopefully in a few months the girls will grow out even more.

Can any non-trans person, male or female, understand the importance of breasts?
To trans people- Even though we know we are probably in line for a BA, why is growing our own is such a HUGE right of passage?

Great news Paula. Only a trans person would hope for sore boobs .. lol. Cats are a menace, but for me the sure sign of progress was when the car seat belt began to make me wince every time I looked back to check for traffic. Hope your girls will give you a lot more trouble real soon .. ;)

I don't mind one bit about having sore boobs...it's a good soreness. To me it affirms my transition to womanhood...well we are experiencing female puberty actually but not having the "joys" of menstruation.Having breasts is one of the most visible aspects of being female.JMHO.

My girls started getting sore a week after I started HRT an have been sore ever since, Just wait till they start getting really sore an bumping into things an going down stairs while the girls are bouncing an trying to sleep rolling over on them but it is worth it though !
