Hormonal fluctuation? Moon Phase (cross-dressers are like werewolves, you know)? Sun Spots?

Those mood swings can really get in the way sometimes! Glad you found the answer to it and got a chance to relax and be yourself!

I think the trick is not to worry about it and just enjoy your fem side when it raises its [not so ugly] head.

The answer to your question is the same answer to why we do it at all. "Who knows"
I get the same way. I guess its just like a gg. I think at time she just wants casual, carefree and go about her usual day with no fuss. But at times she wants to feel special so she gets extra dolled up. For a gg she has two stages, everyday and dolled up. For us cders we have 3 stages, male, everyday cd, and dressed to the nines. So at times I think we battle with it. Do we bother, do we underdress, do we try an androgynous look, or do we have the time to go all out. Sometimes we just dont have the time or if there is a family or s/o that doesnt approve then we just lose the urge.

In the early stages you find other interesting past times to occupy your otherwise dull existence.
A new girlfriend is a great suppressant for dressing.
As soon as she gets boring or you have explored all there is to explore about her, you will return to the fold. :)

it's hard to have a girl friend I don't think my wife would approve :)

I think all of us wonder why. I have many possible answers for my own desires, but none of them seem that good.

I have a labrador that loves going duck hunting with me. He goes absolutely bonkers about ducks. He is very obsessed with them. I wonder if he ever ponders why?

I think we only ponder why because we think it is wrong. My dog doesn't worry about it, he just goes with it. I try and follow his example.

I really do not wonder why. I just do it to be Requal, at the time I feel I want to be (and am able).

You feel "like a million bucks" because that's what it ends up costing us over a lifetime in order to maintain the dual wardrobe and appearance that we desperately strive for. LOL!

I'm sure that most days genetic women don't feel like "doing it up" ...spending the effort on hair and makeup and probably would prefer to just hang around in yoga pants.
But they do it for work or to keep up appearances, rather like we might shave our face and put on a tie for an office job ( though our routine is much less work! ) but we'd rather be in jeans and T-shirt and unshaven.
