I am sitting in a Starbucks right off Castro St. I just finished being the secretary at my 12 step group meeting for the first time as Suzanne! It is a LGBT meeting and everyone has been so supportive of my coming out. We then went to dinner, Suzanne and 10 other guys. What a world! I am so grateful to be out in the world. Again I have to thank my special wife for giving me this freedom. I do miss Allie and Rachael. The Castro seems empty without them! Oh and I do feel so pretty!

Congratulations. Flying solo isn't as bad as we sometimes think it may be. I always prefer to be out with someone, my sidekick. However, since that is not always possible it is nice to flex those wings occasionally and enjoy the view and moment alone.

Hi Suzanne,

I spend a predominate portion of my time out solo and don't find it that bad. I have gone out with GG friends and do find it much easier plus the added benefit of visiting and having girl chat time. But being out alone is not so bad. BTW you look great and very happy.

Yay! Welcome to the club.

No, I don't need clubs. I'm a strong proponent of us being ourselves, and who we need to be. You did it!

Suzanne,
Nothing like doing something supportive to to get along in the world like you describe.

Suzanne just be yourself and people will come to you.New friends and adventures think of it that way.

Hey,
Sounds like you did just great without Laverne and Shirley by your side.
I would have met up with you had I not been in St. Louis.
