I informed the VA that I was transexual. They are going to try and set me up with a counselor so I can start transitioning.
I am probably jumping ahead here but considering I am currently 39 and will be 40 in a couple of weeks, and based on what I read on the internet, I am skeptical the treatments will do anything.
Usually when you expect no results, you are less likely to be let down when you do not get what you expected.
How did the treatments affect you when you first went on them. How long does it take, in your personal experiences, to start seeing anything?
