Last night my girlfriend and I went out to dinner. We were sitting at our table looking at the menu when our waitress came up to the table and said, "Hello Ladies". Hearing that really caught me off guard because I wasn't trying to present as female at the time. It wasn't until I placed my drink order when she heard my voice and saw my license that she realized her "mistake". Still it was a nice surprise that brought a smile to my face and let me know the hormones are doing their job.

I've had the same thing happen several times and I'm not on hormones. Well-groomed nails, pierced ears, bright-colored clothes and self-confidence often leads to the right (for us) conclusion!
