This turned out to be pretty long-winded and I know it won't be very remarkable to most of you, but this is an account of the greatest weekend of my life.

I've been dressing every day for the past month or so, trying to improve my "look," practicing the walk, etc. in preparation for our Vegas trip over this Thanksgiving weekend. SO and I drove out Wed., and by Thursday night I was tired of being a guy so I dared her to dare me to go out somewhere dressed.

We decided to go to Adult Superstore, because I thought it would be a place where i wouldn't be considered too much of a freak (not because we need one more vibrator). I know from reading the forum that LV is THE place, but I this would be my first real outing and the internal voices were screaming at me that my appearance would cause an incident.

We pulled up in the lot and some weird little old guy was standing at his car, staring (leering?) at us as we parked. We waited a bit and he headed inside, never breaking eye contact. This interaction almost ended the night then, not because I was afraid of him, but more afraid of what I would do to him. But I sucked it up and we headed inside.

Little weird guy was waiting by the door for us. He looked a little confused when I walked past him and said hello. I think he thought he saw two ladies pull up in the car, now he wasn't so sure. We started browsing and he followed us a little bit, trying to get a closer look at me. He finally disappeared into the "peep show" room, whatever that is and we didn't see him again. There were half a dozen customers in the store and nobody even so much as looked at me. I would have bought some stockings but they didn't have what I needed...

Early Friday afternoon we got married at the top of the Stratosphere tower. Very classy and simple ceremony and we had a great time. I'm so lucky to have found this beautiful woman who is not only accepting but encouraging (totally into it!). And the CDing is by far not the biggest or only dimension to our relationship. Marrying her is the reason I called it my greatest weekend. Our real honeymoon will be a cruise next year.

That night we went to see a show called Zumania. Kind of a risque show with a lot of sex stories told through music and dance. My new bride got pulled up on stage with a guy out of the audience and they had to do some provocative dance moves, A memorable wedding night for sure.

Saturday morning it we were off to see Amy at Just You. I can't say enough about what a great experience this was. She and her staff were so nice and made me very comfortable. Her work was amazing and she talked nonstop, giving both of us a lot of makeup tips and secrets. I ended up buying most of the products she used on me. I think my makeup skills just improved 100% because I spent an hour with her.

The main, planned outing for Madeline was in my mind contingent upon Amy's success. So when I looked in the mirror at the finished package I was full of confidence and enthusiasm. I decided that instead of going to some dark gay bar I wanted to go out to the biggest, busiest casino I could think of. "Take me to the MGM."

I was dressed in some VS skinny jeans, black wedge sneaker type shoes. A red VS top with a grayish blue VS hoodie over it to tone things down. I'm a little over 6' in heels 175lbs. and have broad shoulders. I had on a few pieces of jewelry and carried a purse. Nails were a pale pinkish-tan. I was purposely dressing to be inconspicuous.

We grabbed a big frozen drink on the way in from the parking structure. SO made the purchase and I stood across the hall in a little alcove. Still a little hesitant.

We went up the escalator to the main lobby. If you are not familiar with the MGM, the lobby is vast, lit up like the sun and you have to cross the whole thing to get into the casino.

I took a deep breath, forced a smile and stepped in to the lobby, packed with hundreds if not thousands of people! This was the real deal, Vegas on a Saturday afternoon. The "guy" voices were screaming that I was about to die! But we walked across the lobby like we owned the place, and I realized that nobody was really looking at me. Just scurrying around in their own little worlds not paying attention.

Into the casino and I found a machine I liked. And I sucked down that whole huge alcoholic drink and won a little money.

We went to the ticket machine and there were a few people waiting ahead of us. This machine was on a main walkway and lots of people were walking past. I tried to smile, stand like a chick and just have a nice conversation with my new wife.

So some guy that was in line behind us, apparently, walks up to the side of me and says, "Can I ask you a question?...Oh,...you're a dude." I just looked at him, started to say Yeah, as in yeah, so what (getting a fist ready for him). Then he says, "Way to own it, take care of your shit." Then he went away. Not unfriendly or menacing. Not sure if he was going to hit on me or just getting a closer look at the weirdo. A guy right behind us said, wow, he's really blasted. That was the only conversation I had with anyone.

Then we walked through the shops, went outside, walked all the way back through to the parking structure. Scary guy voices were wearing me down and I was ready to go regroup, rest and redo the makeup and everything for a wild night out.

I think I had passed by literally thousands of people and I only got maybe 5-6 looks. That is not because I am in any way passable, its just the way people are at least in LV. Unconcerned.

So we get to the parking garage and...where the hell did we park? We looked around, walked a little, went up a level, tried to remember what our parking situation looked like. This place is like five layers of ten football fields each. Neither of us had thought to make a mental note of the section and now the guy voices were laughing their asses off! We told you so, a tragedy, ha ha ha! A silver Toyota rental car, good luck with that! Maybe security will help you "ladies" find your car!

So I pulled myself together and remembered that we parked right next to a turn leading to a ramp. Walked about fifty feet and Victory! There it was.

My lovely wife was so encouraging and kind. She showed me how to hold the purse, and kept reminding me to walk like a lady and smile/be confident. She told me she had fun and wasn't the least bit embarrassed by me.

I had planned to go out to one of the clubs Saturday night but we both started getting a little sick, flu or something. So we went out to the Trop and just played some slots for a while (me as guy, didn't have the energy to bring Madeline). We had a nice time and I won some more money.

So...I feel like I had a little taste of success. I'm going to work very hard on my makeup, body language, fashion and voice, and I can't wait to get back to LV again! The goal for next time is girl shopping at the outlet malls and out to a club.
