The kids have gone back to school and once again I can put my bra and panties back on, slip a dress on and slide on a pair of heels and walk about the house and be Angie for a few hours. It does feel really good!!!

I'm sure you now feel more relaxed and sexy. Funny how clothes can change our attitudes and stress levels.

Good for you!

I'm doing the exact same thing with a day of femininity until I have to turn back into a pumpkin and strip everything off.

Enjoy it while you can.

Thank you ladies for those kind words, it really is a stress reliever. And Linda I always hate changing backing into that same old pumkin as well!

My kids are on holiday for the summer, so a lot of my clothes and makeup will end up in beach bags at friends houses :(

Angie,
Ever thought of letting your kids in on the secret. They might surprise you.

Beverley the next time is Christmas and that will be longer 2 weeks at least. Steph yes it does make it hard, but you fit it in when you can right girl!! No Dana not at this time even if they did surprise me, it is me I am just not ready, not everyone is or even has to be ready. Never figured that one out that for some reason someone always want you to tell the whole world even if you don't. Go figure.

Yes it's great for sure. I'm about to have the opposite. My in-laws are coming for a visit since my daughter in law is about to have my first grand child so the clothes have to go away for 12 days. Waaa but I'm sure I can do it.
Hugs Leigh

LeeR,
Twelve days may seem like an eternity darlin. I pray that you can stay on an even keel during this period of time.

I know what you mean Angie, my son stays with my parents 2 nights out of the week because my wife and I are full time students and work. So every Sunday night, I shave, take out the makeup, wear something pretty and comfy (my wife got me some great women's pj's) and slip into bed for girls night with her. We cherish those little moments we can get.

I have a daughter and husband coming for Christmas, and this morning my wife asked me if I was going to be wearing skirt around the house at Christmas time. Had to say, I don't think so. But then in January the wife is going to visit her sister, so I'll have the house to myself for a couple of weeks, or until her sister get tired of her and sends her home. I don't really think that will happen as the get along very well and she could stay a long time if she liked' Bria

Yippee! I know the feeling. Having them visit is good, but the freedom is needed, too.

Bria that is wonderful that you will have a couple of weeks for yourself. It would be lovely if Angie could have that kind of freedom. Brenda it sounds like you know what I am feeling, we have to cherish every moment right girl!

Having never having kids. I just cant relate. Alien mindset i guess. I just gotta say. For all my life I've had TOTAL freedom. Not happy tho. So whats THAT say? Alone and jealous of most y'all. On the outside looking in... (sigh...)
