I don't know if you've seen this. I just happened to have stumbled on it...

It's interesting not simply because of Daniel Craig getting his girl on but because of what it has to say about women in today's world.

Women still need support in today's world.

Women are still victimized moreso than men are. Physically of course, as men typically have advantage, but also in the workplace in some cases, and get taken advantage of when it comes to DIY, and from those who will at least attempt to take advantage of them when it comes to mechanical things. I have proved this too many times. My wife will take the car in for say the brakes to be looked at and get a much bigger bill then I will, and the mechanic will tell her more needs to be done and charge a higher price. I will take it in for the same, and will get a lower price, or if I take it in to the same mechanic, suddenly they will say, well, down the road you will need new wheel bearings etc etc...

I am also jealous that hollywood actors always get the best people to make them over. I doubt DC could look that decent on his own without a lot of help.

That was a powerful and unfortunately still relevant message.

DC did well by not talking and letting his face tell the pain behind the story.

Hearing "Poor, Poor Pitiful Me" played on the violin, especially by people who "earn" a fortune every month, always makes me throw up.

Hugs,

I think the video ended with something like 2 to 4 women in the UK are killed each year by a current or former gardener. That sounded extremely weird to me. Did I hear it wrong? Yes, it's even more weird than I thought. 2 women are killed EVERY WEEK in the UK by their own current or former gardeners. WOW

I think they need to start hiring women gardeners, or do their own gardening.

And I thought Bond looked much better dressed. Right?

I agree; I was really moved when I first saw this clip. And the fact that Daniel Craig just stands there quietly whilst Judy Dench speaks the voice over is an inspired piece of direction.

Thanks for posting this, Audrey. I had seen it before, but it never hurts to be reminded of the statistics.
