My boyfriend has recently expressed an interest in cross dressing. After the initial shock, I decided to embrace it. He's a good looking man and makes a good looking woman, too. We have fun with it. However, we need to know what type of make up base to purchase to cover a relatively heavy beard...any advice or suggestions will be greatly appreciated as we are very new to all this....thanks.

The lucky dog has a girlfriend who likes to see him made up and crossdressed. Most of us could only dream.......
Anyway, Dermablend is most often recommended for heavy beard shadow. I have never used it. I have a moderate beard, and after a close shave, I use concealer and then pancake makeup and powder. Works for me.

Try a color corrector under a full coverage foundation. I assume the beard area is blue colored, use a pink or reddish shade under your foundation. I like Kryolan TV Stick makeup. It has good coverage and I find it to be less cakey than dermablend. Make sure to set the makeup with powder afterward.

Nicole has the right advice, for you I would like to reinforce, do not go overboard with dressing as it can get boring.
When doing things together do them in moderation and you will keep the fire alive between you.
All the best with your relationship.
