Came out to a friend

I had the opportunity to touch base with a close friend of mine while I was on a business trip last week. I have known her for years and find her to be an open and caring person. So, during our visit, I decided to come out to her. She was very glad I trusted her and was fine with the whole Isha situation.

She asked if she could meet Isha some day and as luck would have it, I had Isha with me. So we agreed to make a day of it. We went shopping and I bought a new outfit for dinner that night. We went out a nice restaurant and except for a few curious stares, the night went well. We had a great visit and just enjoyed being. It felt good to just be me and enjoy the day. Below is the outfit I bought and my new glasses.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. It was a great time and is very nice to slowly come out to trusted friends who are accepting. The one thing I did forget to mention is that when I drove back home I did so as Isha and visited my younger sister as Isha. She knows about Isha and has been dying to meet for some time. It was a great visit as well.

Hi Bria,

Thanks for the sweet compliment. I can blend quite well due to my size and frame so for the most part people don't really notice me but on close examination I never survive first contact. It was quite interesting as the table in question it was a GG who noticed me first and then the whispering started. I could almost see the words "don't all look at once but I think that is a guy" and what did they do . . . they all turned and looked at once. Nothing rude, just curiosity. So what's a girl to do but smile and go back to my conversation, food and wine.
