Posting On Other Forums

When you post on other forums do you use your feminine name and pictures?

Or do you use other names?

Generally I pick a female name ( if it's available) and use my pictures.

Just wondering.

Only did so once. It was an icky forum and I got off of it. But, I used my same name and pic. It's too hard to get involved with too many different sites with different names and pics. Just be yourself all the time. Makes life easier!

On this site, I only use Debbie. On other sites such as FaceBook or Google Groups, I have two separate accounts, one for Debbie, and one for Rex. Rex focuses on technical and political issues. Debbie focuses more on LGBT issues, fashion, and lifestyle. Now that I'm living femme 24/7 I'm using Debbie much more, and Rex much less.

I don't really post on other CD forums, have posted on reddit occasionally, and post on skirtcafe as well. Skirtcafe is not into CDing. I use different names for all.

I use CarlaWestin but my posting has narrowed to only this forum. Last November I started keeping it real with my own pictures exclusively. The male me doesn't post anywhere. That would just be boring.

This forum has everything I'm looking for in a community! So I've only ever dabbled in others, usually forums for specific things like make-up etc...but I'll always use my Female name.

I'll even sometimes use my female name for a forum totally unrelated to CDing :blush:

My professional side and family still uses my male-persona accounts I've created eons ago. (Facebook, StackExchange, MSDN, etc.) Everything else is related to this side of my life. (Here, pinterest, reddit, flickr, fetlife, etc..)

i'm mainly on music / band forums so the usernames are often quite random as are the avatars!

i do like picking my gender as female when that's an option but that's just to throw off the minks!

i was Mink years ago on another CD site that i was on for years and years and my avatar was adriana lima!

I use my male name on non crossdressing forums. There was a time years ago when for reasons I won't go into here, I created an account on one as Linda Allen and posted for a couple years. Of course I had to remember to post from a woman's point of view.

I use fem like names for crossdressing or Fem forums and male names for all the others.

I mostly use more than one fem name (or variations) of them on different sites, perhaps partly to avoid being traced by google :). Think Tamzin is only otherwise on forums where I'm not active. I'm even Olivia on one of those, only because I cannot really change it. There are one or two of my old not-neccessarily-fem usernames that are unchangeable, like the left one in my signature. On other forums where active I mostly use Charlotte or variations, except one place where it's Katharine for some reason.
