Hi everyone well it's my birthday today and I am wanting to go out shopping in drab to a lingerie store, I have been there before and the owner knows I crossdress, but she won't be in today most likely, I want a little advice from you all, I want to go into the store just before closing time today and try on some nightgowns and lingerie seems it's my birthday thought it would be a nice treat for myself, what is your opinion or suggestions to this and how to tell the sales lady it's for me, :)

You could say it's for a theatrical play?

If the owner knows about your dressing, I suspect she has told her SAs that there will may be guys coming in to buy lingerie for themselves, and they should treat them with the same respect they give to any paying customer. Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday!

When you get there, ask for the owner. SA will say something along the lines that she is not in, may I help you. You reply and don't be shy, "oh OK, that would be great. The owner always help me pick something out for myself." This lets the SA know you have a good working relationship with the owner and what type of service you expect. Name drop the owners name where appropriate.

If you received great service let the SA know that you are going tell the owner what great service you received on your birthday and follow through. You will have made a good impression on the SA. She will remember you for both being a cross dresser and for being a nice person.

Happy Birthday, good luck on your shopping trip. Don't worry what SA's think, they have seen it all anyway, just do your shopping, look around, hold things up to yourself and even try things on. Shopping for clothes while always looking over your shoulder is no fun, just be yourself, shop like normal. And again, Good Luck.

Belated happy birthday. Be sure to come back and let us know how your shopping goes. We're all waiting with anticipation. And remember, if there's no photo, it didn't happen.

On my 67th birthday my wife and lover knew I wanted to dress up in my feminine best outfits. Over the last several years I have accumulated a pretty impressive selection and it's always fun to fine special occasions to share them with my lover. Since I live way out in the Missouri Ozarks I do most of my shopping on line. Peace, Stephanie G
