Uhm, this is the same principle as waxing the hair. So if you do it wrong, you can end up with ingrowing hairs...... you have to apply it to the skin and take it off with a fabric strip.... same as waxing..... hair growing back thinner.... same principle as waxing. Just sounds like another con to me.

I am using the Braun Silk Epil System and so far I am happy. I used to shave evryother day. I use on Tues andmost hair is still gone a week later. No ingrown hairs. It does sting a little at first but not too bad. Purchased off Amazon.

I, too have been using the Braun Silk Epil for over a year now and absolutely love what it has done for my arms and legs. My spouse hasn't said too much to me about it even though I am certainly more hairless now than I have ever been. I was recently in a theater production and played a transgendered individual and the results I had with the Silk Epil made most of the women in the cast a little surprised--I simply told them I removed the hair for the production--they didn't have to know I kept it that way for most of the year.
I've been a little afraid to try it much on my chest because it is painful but little by little I get more done and it does keep things clearer than anything alse I have used before.
