Back in May when I posted my coming out transition letter on Facebook, I was contemplating doing a video instead. I never quite got it to the point I wanted, but I just found it sitting collecting dust on my laptop. I viewed it once myself, having forgotten that I even created it, and almost started crying!

Lots of emotion, but a great video! I immediately uploaded it to YouTube along with my VLOG.

An amazing and touching video

Her words resonated with me

"So I started to pretend,
hide what I was feeling.
and put on a mask"

I love your video. Despite our age differences, I saw so much of myself in it.

After a lifetime of GD, and denying I had it, I was visiting my sister one weekend. While walking her dog, she sat down on a neighbors lawn, patted the grass beside her, said 'sit down'. I did, questioningly. She said 'Now what the hell is wrong with you?'. Everything came out. A lifetime of dysphoria in one run-on sentence. It was at that moment, like a lightning bolt hitting me, that I decided to become my real self.
