216756Sorry about the thread title but Ive put a face to the name. Oh **** what have I done!............... Just give me a minute while I get my heels back on the ground! I have several wigs maybe the one I chose is a bit dated but it washes and brushes out well and the ends don't split even at the back, also it covers my ears ( male ears not being the prettiest) to leave enough for earrings. If I suddenly disappear again you'll know I've chickened out, Luckily my hearing is 50% down so I won't hear all your comments.

Teresa, styles come and go and more so for women. Move with them.

One of the cool things about CDing is you don't have to go with the flow of changing styles. Some CDers like Victorian-style dresses, some like the 1950's look (poodle skirts, anyone?), and some like to mix elements from different decades and make it their own unique style. A dated wig? So what? It's all good.

Hi Hon

Very pretty look ,the wig is great and I love the blue of the dress, the color complements you. All in all
much to pretty to hide in a closet.

Hugs Annette

women's prerogative, hairstyles change like the seasons, and you said you have others,
would wear a longer necklace if you have one with the turtleneck style you picked,
makeup very pretty, your good to go....

Thanks for your reply Carole, Xmas went OK, no dramas. If you read my post titled Xmas blues I had to settle for sitting by the fire in my check shirt and manly cords. What would I have given curl up with a new outfit and sip a glass of wine. From your address we could be close neighbours.

Thanks for your comments Jaymees22. I Cheated slightly with the photo as I was a photographer for ****** years so I had all the gear, studio and full colour darkroom, but it is a self portrait. I am over critical of my work but I actually like myself in the photo ( sounds very narcisstic sorry ). This is where the boundry blurs, I suppose if I was a woman I would be happy to look like that. If you need any tips on photography or posing you know the name and now the face.

Hey bossy boots! No seriously as my post title said it does feel like a huge step, I've gone from only my wife catching me dressed twice and she along with a male friend seeing the picture, to who knows how many people now able see me. If I've felt so bad for so many years in solitary confinement, how much worse can I feel now ?. CDing is locked in my brain for life, there is nothing I can do about I've got to stop feeling guilty and ashamed. Now I have accepted a female name Teresa is the one that dresses up and wears makeup, and has too much FUN!.

NicoleScott it must be great to be that flexible, I wish I could be but I have limits on finances and limits on storage space ( hiding places). It must be heaven to have a proper wardrobe.

Annette there is a little story behind the blue blouse it was in transit between my wife and her sister, I saw it on the hangar the neckline was so flattering especially for a CDer and I loved the colour, the only problem was it was too small across the bust so I couldn't pad my bra but it's not obvious. How I obtained the wig is a story for another day.

Mikell I am still amazed how a wig can make or break a look. I have ones a little longer than yours and very short bob style in white blond and black.I can get away with the silver blond but I find makeup has to be heavier to compete, the black bob is just too black it can look cute but it doesn't cover the ears well and looks too " wiggy". The longer wigs suffer because they can't be left on stands and the don't like excessive brushing, I could style one like yours but the fibres keep splitting obviously poorer quality.

Totally agree! I'm a classic guy, and a classic girl. maintaine and hope my wigs last forever.. This stuff isn't cheap! Haha

Personally, I really like the hairdo, always loved permed hair. The blouse is fantastic, very elegant! I wish GGs still wore those lovely blouses like that.

That's a great photo, Teresa - trouble is, you've set a very high standard to move on from... :D Now if I just had a proper studio... I don't suppose you've ever thought there might be a business proposition in this somewhere? Probably 'nuff said for now... You look lovely :o

Teresa, you look marvelous! If were aiming for a very posed look of a female professional you have succeeded brilliantly.
