Am I a CD if I have 10 complete outfits in my closet??

That's a good question since many of us purge just to say we aren't a CD and yet than we go an buy more.
I didn't have any clothes for several years after a purge and now Im back to having 4 outfits a wig, makeup
Just recently bought heels again.
I have never fully understood or embraced myself as a CD until now so not sure how it works unless maybe you finally just accept it as a part of who you are, wardrobe or not.

I have just as much if not more clothes than my wife. I have more jewelry than she does. Would woulda thunk it. :D

my gurlie closet is at least 4 times bigger than my boy closet
and almost all my underwear is gurl
and 50 pears of shoes
and i consider myself as a newbie

Personally, all it takes is one outfit, or even partial outfit. Since this is not a contest, and there are no prizes for being more CD than someone else, everyone that finds a way to express themselves as CD is CD. Me.........I have lots, it grows continually, and will tomorrow with after Christmas sales.

LRoberts, I have maybe 5 dresses, a corset, a pair of leggings, and 1-2 wigs I wear at a time, and 3 pairs of shoes. I've considered myself a CD WAY before I had this many things.

All it takes is one, The one you put on and get the feeling in, qualifies you as a Crossdresser. With 10 you have some variety to mix and match.. Like others said you got to wear them.

A constant, slightly anxious feeling that you haven't quite got enough of, or the most perfect of, something is a good sign.
I've got more than 10 dresses, shoes, lipsticks, earrings etc. that I haven't even worn yet. Nor that I'm ever likely, in the foreseeable future, to have an occasion to!
Doesn't stop me.

If you wear lacy panties all the time like I do, then you are part of the "club." There's no turning back! My guy jeans and T-shirts could fill only two dresser drawers. My suit and tie for weddings and funerals take about 5 inches of closet space. The rest of my closet and dresser could explode in feminine attire!

I've just gone through my closet and purged all the items that were not age appropriate or I could not wear out in public. That left me only 10 outfits. Now I wish I had kept them! Nothing good has ever come out of purging. I guess with just 4 pairs of mens underware and a drawer full of panties, I am a crossdresser.

I survived the college years with less than that..... now by girl closet is way more stocked than my guy closet....

I too do a size/style purge every now and then. All of it ends up at the local thrift store and on my donation list for the irs...
