I don't really believe in them myself. I think we lie to ourselves trying to keep any one promise we made at the beginning of each new year but for some odd reason I am finding myself making one concerning my femme self for the upcoming year, especially concerning my dressing and such.

I have realized that this past year, through out the year, that I have wasted a lot of money when it comes to clothing and shoes and the likes. I am not to the point yet where I try things on in the stores. I have tried a pair of pants on once at a Kmarts when no one was looking and every now and then I will try a pair of shoes on while my SO stands guard. I know it's silly and quite stupid but it is what it is for now.

While looking through my closet just now, I realize that I have a lot of things, different blouses and pants, that don't quite fit right as I thought they would have while purchasing them. It's becoming quite frustrating that they don't to. I have decided that I am going to take some of them to the salvation army at the first of the year and donate them as there is no point in having them if they don't fit which brings me to my New Year's resolution.

Having a SO that accepts, embraces, and supports this side of me, it makes no sense that I shouldn't be returning these things if they don't fit. I have done it for a few things in this last year that didn't but for the most part I just end up keeping them.

So this year my resolution is to start keeping the tags and receipts and returning everything that doesn't fit perfectly. If I am not brave enough to do so, my SO said she is more than willing to help me return them. I am also going to try and do a bit more "trying on" in the store than I have in the past. Having an SO that knows and participates in my dressing has been a blessing but it has also made me lazy and I don't like the feeling. I know things are done in baby steps but not taking those baby steps leaves you with no progression what so ever.

What is your New years resolution for Your CDing side?

Returning unsuitable merchandise is a must.
No need to keep a wardrobe full of ill fitting clothes.

I don't make resolutions - I make plans. There is a difference. My plans have milestones, deadlines and measurable results. This year's plan relating to gender presentation is to lose 15 pounds and cut four inches off my waist by corseting for at least three hours a day. The holiday season didn't help much - but I did manage to avoid a weight gain and wore my corset consistently. I'll take a measurement at the end of January to see if there's discernable progress and report back. Accountability is important!

Mine is to eat, drink and be merry, in case I should die tomorrow.

I want to be more open with my girlfriend about Sara. Also I want to expand my wardrobe and maybe try make-up for the first time!

My plan for 2014:
1. Divorce
2. Complete electrolysis
3. FFS
4. Finish developing a feminine voice. (This is so freaking hard!)
5. SRS
6. Legal name and gender marker change

My only real resolution is to quit freaking feeling guilty about my transition.
