Driver’s License and School Records changed!

I had a lot better experience at the motor vehicle department than when changing my Social Security information. I also checked with Arizona State University. They will not change your records, including a name change, once you have graduated. A transsexual also told me last year that ASU will not change your records. I decided to check for myself and found that they won’t change your name after graduation UNLESS you have a gender change. If so then they will change your name and gender after graduation. I went there and gave them my paperwork and my name and gender were changed without any problem. I can even order a diploma under my new name. This is massive because now when I apply for a job; all my records will identify me as a female.

Gosh, I forgot all about my university records. There's dozens of these things to change! Here's hoping I won't need to do job interviews ever again. Thank you Stephanie :-)

Congratulations Steph! It's so refreshing or see how well things have changed since the 1970s. No, we still don't have an easy life, but hopefully, one day, it will all come together.
