My battle this morning:

Me: "O.k., eyeliner, good job last night, gotta go to work so.. time to come off now!"

Eyeliner: "Lol yeah... um ya know what? I think I'll stick around for a while."

Me: "Oh yeah? We'll see about that!" ::scrub:: ::scrub:: ::scrub::

Eyeliner: "Hehehe That tickles!"

Me: " Makeup remover will kick your ass, make no mistake!"

Makeup remover: "Actually I'm still at Rite Aid. You forgot to buy me."

Eyeliner: "BOO-YAH! Yeahhh that's right biatch!" ::flexes:: " I ain't no punk-ass Wet n' Wild eyeliner! I'm a $15 pencil from Bare Minerals!"

Me: "Crap. I need backup. Shower! Facial cleanser! You guys got my back?"

Shower and facial cleanser: "LET'S DO IT!"

::Battle ensues::

Eyeliner: "You managed to spread more of me down your face. Good job!"

Me: "DAMMIT!"

Eyeliner: "Aaand will you look at that? Clock says you have to be at work in forty minutes. Looks like time's up! Guess who's wearing me to work today! Goodbye Violet, hello Dorian the emo librarian!"

Lol, very funny.
I have never had that problem before, because I publically wear eyeliner daily.
But I can imagine it causing some stress before work. Hehe
I mainly wear long or extra lasting makup, especially mascara, and I have noticed it kinda dyes the hairs for quite a few days.

If you need it off quickly, use baby oil, or try olive oil

Nothing better then scrubbing your face and eyes raw. It lets you know that you've done it right! :)

Some months ago, the day after I'd been out, a fellow came into my office and while we were talking, noticed a black mark near my eye. Laughing, he asked if it was mascara. My response was "Do I ask YOU what you do on your day off?". His response: "No, you don't". All in good fun.

Violet, you always need to have some extra baby wipes and makeup remover wipes around, plus some good old extra virgin olive oil too. The good thing about using he olive oil is that you will be thinking all morning about a nice lite tasty salad for lunch. That is also good for the figure. Please let us know if Miss Bare Minerals ever gets eradicated.

Oh Violet, I just love this! And yes, it strikes close to home -- why don't I just wear the stuff to my office?

Reminds me of the day I had off and dressed in the afternoon , then had to pick up my son for the weekend. I thought I got it all off, but he questioned several times if I was wearing eyeliner which I vehemently denied. That stuff , you love it and you hate it

Violet,you need to get the kitchen ingredients involved. Olive oil takes off every kind of makeup known to man......................... I mean woman

Hehe, funny... and informative. I haven't been experimenting into makeup yet, though it's something I've always wanted to do at some point.

Wife has come home and said she sees dirt on my eye to go wash it off. The liner is always the hardest to come off I use to use her eye makeup remover but she got rid of it now I have a large bottle of mine own. But there's always that time it doesn't want to go away.

I did the olive oil thing... got hungry, added croutons, Parmesan, red wine vinegar and anchovies. My date loved it, but wanted a main course with it
