Summer time Sun Tanning.

I have always wanted that panty line on my skin but a bit risqué to actually do it thinking that know one saw you. In 2012 I decided to stay shaven though out summer. I did get some strange looks by some young men at the beach as my wife and I were waling out. My skin (specifically my legs) when shaven is as shiny as my bald head. That is not where I tried to tan. I did it in the back yard at my home. I would set up all of the chairs on the back patio and drape over blankets. Of course I would lay some down to lay on. Once all set up I would take off all of my clothes except for a pair of panties. They looked like a swim suit but men (if they dare to wear a spedo) usually do not have 3/4 back to them. I learned a lesson, leave the dog inside otherwise he will pull on the blankets and knock down the privacy screen I have made. My issue is that I do not tan very well. I started mid winter (where I live, the winters are mild and in the sun it gets hot). I actually achived my goal but took several months. (I only spent time during my lunch break from work since I am a few miles away). The wife started inquiring why I am trying to get a tan. That was the first time she ever questioned my loyalty. I was also trying to loose weight at the same time. It gets frustrating when your clothes do not fit any more.

I get that same tan during the last two summers. I like to get tanned, my pale, white and old skin looks much better as the tan hides a lot of imperfections and I do not need to wear pantyhose during the warmer months. Instead of panties, I bought a cheap bikini bottom (I actually have 3 in different colors) from Target for less than $15.00 each on sale, and lay out in my back yard on a lounge chair. I think that my two neighbors have already seen me laying that way. However, they have never said anything and I always act the same being their nice, helpful and talkative neighbor. I do try to schedule my Dr.'s appointments that require me undressing down to the bare essentials or less during the winter months when my tan has almost faded completely. It works for me and it makes me happy when looking in the mirror at those tan lines.

I have been tempted to wear a bra to get a bra tan line. But that would be hard to cover up if I decide to go swimming.... I guess I need my own pool.

I have thought about getting some inexpensive swim suits. The main reason for the tan, that look of tan legs in mini skirt just makes me drool. I see all these girls wearing short shorts and skirts with a tan to die for. Could be salon or chemical but I want that look so bad. Most tan I get is the left arm and nothing else (due to too much driving). I guess that would be considered half a farmer tan (no offence to farmers). Perhaps a truck driver tan then?

I've almost got gotten the nerve a few times in the
past, but it's been a long time and I haven't thought
much about it since.

It's one thing to dress to high heaven....that can
always be undone quick-n-easy enough. The top
of the bikini tan, though....

I think I'd like to see that kind of semi-permanent
thing on myself, but sadly, I'm way too scared.

I have had a bikini tan (2 piece) in the past, i just loved it ! I will be starting a new bikini tan next week i'm so exited. The nice thing about being tanned here in so. fla women usually don't wear stockings or pantyhose just bare legs with a good pedi with color. As far as going to doctors ect i don't really care it's my body it's me.

The past couple summers I've done my tanning at a clothing optional beach (the only public one in my state). I prefer an all over natural tan as opposed to one from a tanning booth, and I like the all over tanned look instead if the bikini line. As soon as the weather permits I'll be heading there again.

PS The bonus to that is I can admire all the GGs who are there for the same reason.

I am about to start tanning at salon. I am not trying to get super tanned, I just want to get a bit of a base before our short Summer starts, and I don't like my normal pale colour. I also have a hell of a time getting any colour tanning outside without burning. At the salon I start out with about 7 minutes at a time, (depending on the age /intensity of the bulbs) Conversely, I am going to try and be more conscientious about applying daily sunblock on the face and arms, they are the only bits which normally get colour, and they usually get too dark for me.

When I do tan outside, I try to use a speedos, and I've been known to hike them up my cheeks a bit to blur the sharp line. I specifically don't like tanlines.

I used to just wear a bikini bottom in the backyard, but this last summer I wore the string top also. Got the expected tan lines but that was my goal. I tanned nude a few times but had to protect the dangly bits which became a little tiresome. A tanned body just looks better in the little clothing I prefer to wear.

I've been to the tanning beds specifically for bikini tan lines several times but the past few years I've become more concerned with how bad it could be for me. I was just looking into some self tanning lotions today to at least get some good color.

I too am worried about the health issues...in a few weeks when it warms up a bit I am going to do some serious self tanner research and experimenting. I want something that wont stain clothing. I need it to be warmer to bare my legs and experiment with some self tanner though

This summer I'm going to get bikini tan lines (2pc.) I guess I'll be wearing a shirt to the pool for a while en drab. Oh well, sounds fun.

While it's not a bathing suit, I have worn racer back tops while on long rides and runs giving a more feminine tan than any of the other guys. I especially like how the front looks with a halter like tan lines. Once hiking with a camisole on gave fairly distinct strappy lines. I was not displeased.

I guess I am lucky. I change colors like a chameleon. I go to a nude beach and do the all over tan. I use sun screen and go with spf 50 on the privates. The thing I enjoy about being tanned is the contrast of colors with clothes, in particular white, yellow, powder blue.

I go nude tanning alot too...There is a great private beach near me NOBODY ever goes to..its off the beaten path...i can go there dressed too. I like a nice tan bum!!

Last summer, in one of the sunny days, I worked in the yard of the house in light shirt and bra underneath. Night in the bathroom, I could clearly see the white mark on my bra. I had to abandon a trip with friends to rest at sea.

Back when I was in my 20s and 30s and built a lot different than now I always tanned in a string bikini. One of my fond memories was laying on the beach by the ocean with my then wife and 2 sister in-laws and I was wearing the skimpiest bathing suit. It was a lot of fun when all 4 of us went in the water tried body surfing. The waves were rather powerful and one caught my sister in-law just right and her top... Oh well that is another story

I do the same thing during the summer, When it get warm enough I start out slow, 15 minutes a side, as I tan, I up the time but never go over 30 minutes a side. It sound like I am cooking a steak. But this works for me.

Enjoy your skin cancer removals :) is tanning really needed to feel feminine? Why bake destroy and age your skin when you could easily get adequate self just lounge poolside. All those beach babes you saw lounging soaking up the rays 20 years ago look like cracked leather now!

I'm in my 50s and really wish I had tanned less in my youth. I rode motorcycles almost exclusively and in the southwest did a lot of that with my arms bare. They tanned beautifully, but now I have nasty freckled, wrinkled, and age-spotted hands and arms to deal with. Two years of Nadinola has lessened the "farmer tan" effect somewhat but nothing will restore the smooth skin.

My shoulders are still nice and smooth, a contrast I show younger people who are all hot to get tanned.

I tan easily but I don't like to get too dark, just enough for a nice even tan and a panty tan line. Bare, tan legs freshly shaven and lotioned are so sexy, I think. After I get a good panty line, I also sunbath bottomless a couple of times so the contrast isn't too extreme. After that, just a little maintenance tanning occasionally, no more than I have to cuz to me, tanning is borrrrriiiinnng. I'm always laying there thinking of a dozen things I'd rather be doing.
