How high?

It seems to me that a large percentage of us are taller than the average.

Is this just the girls I know or is there some genetic link to being TG'd and height?

Height is not the issue. I have seen a few GGs that were taller than me but "passed" 100%. To be honest it is all about looks, clothing, manerisms, etc to being a woman, not height...

BTW it is hard for me also, I hope hormones will as they say shrink my feet a bit!

What is the average? Average of gg's or cd's? It would seem to me that your poll reflects "most" cds are under 6 feet, which would mean to mean that most are shorter. But what the heck. It's just poll!

6'3" and haven't shrunk since attaining that height. Just checked it at the doctors's office the other day.

Love my height most of the time. But would surly like to be about 6'0" with heels and have a size 9 male foot. Could almost be reasonalbly passable and find shoes that are fun. Not to change the thread but it is amazing that I like to shop for GG shoes. Hate it when I need boy shoes.

I'm 5'11 in my stocking feet and only wear 2 1/2" heels max while out.

I have bought some flats to wear with women's jeans to blend in in the daytime.

I feel huge when talking to a GG while dressed but don't feel big at all when in drab. Does 2" make that much difference?

I do like to be around tall GG's when I'm dressed but don't seem to find any that are taller than me. Will keep looking.

We frequent a club where most GG's are 5" nothing and we feel monstrous.

I'm 6' 1" and a bit, to be honest I like being tall and don't worry about it that much, there are women out there as tall as me (one stunning woman works In the office I used to work in she's at least 6")
But hey there you go we are who we are, I wouldn't change me, much, we'll I guess I'd like size 8 (UK) feet as the range of available shoes goes up considerably.

Just a point of info. A 3" or 4" heel will not increase your height by that same amount. There is a geometrical progression with heels. A 3" will increase your height by about 2-1/2", and a 4" will increase by a little under 3-1/2". Measure yourself and try it.

The first time I was out in public dressed was at a cosmetics store. I was getting ready to leave when two older women came in. I waved goodbye to the clerk.
I later returned and found out that one woman asked her, "Was that a lady?" The clerk asked in reply, "What do you think?"
The older woman said she thought I was rather tall (had on four-inch strappy sandals that day), but that maybe I was just tall. She added that I had a little too much hair on my arms (the sleeves on my top had ridden up as I got up to leave).
Well, the clerk and she went around before the clerk admitted I was not a lady. The older woman did say that I looked very nice and that my make-up was well done. Meanwhile, the other older lady asked, what girl?" I was invisible to her which I think means that I passed with her.
