I have a job interview tomorrow at 9 at Subway. I deciding on what to wear. I bought some new flats and a couple of shirts. At the moment I am think the flats, nylons, black tank top with a long sleeve white shirt on top and a black sweater. The flats are black also. I wanted to get a new cardigan to go with it because I think it would look better but I did not have enough so I will have to settle. I could not find affordable black pants so I am thinking of wearing my men's dress pants.
I won't worry about the other stuff until I am actually hired because at the moment I am limited on my budget. I need to bear in mind that if hired, I might need to get a green shirt.
I also have a black dress but the hem is above my knees so I am assuming that is out of the question.
The only pair of women's pants I have are beige from when I worked at that cafe in Texas. But I am reading that you should wear black pants to a subway interview.
I also need to figure out the hair. My hair is just below the shoulders and brown.
They called me because of my resume. The job is 7.1 miles which would be a 3 and half hour walk if I walked it. That is a little better than my old job which was 8 miles from my house and took me about 4 hours to walk. Fortunately this time both my house and the job are near bus stops. No public transportation at my old job. I can take the bus and get there in 52 minutes. Plus I pay only $2.50 a day in transportation instead $12.00 a day if I drove.
