The SO and I have just been for a long weekend in the caravan.
Before setting off she asked if I had put my "girly" stuff in. Once all pitched up and several coffees later she asked why had hadn't dressed much lately.
Reluctantly I admitted that it was because I had put on so much weight recently and that nothing felt comfortable and I looked awful.
Her reply, "I had noticed, but your bum fills your knickers better"
I think I will accept the compliment for now but I definitely need to drop the waistline.

You are right No sense in getting up set, for me not getting in to that new dress because I have gained to much, it me I have to be mad at.

A nice sideways compliment.
You will just have to work on your eating habits.

You've just got to love that kind of frank, yet loving conversation. It sounds so natural and matter-of-fact.

Best wishes

This has to be true of any human. We have to feel good about ourselves. The recipe is simple: eat well (4 to 6 small meals a day and never skip breakfast) and exercise. If you consume 2,000 calories, your body will be burning between 1500 and 1800 depending on age, and a modest amount of exercise gets you under the calorie intake. It's math.

Cardio is a must as is weight lifting. Muscle burns 5x the calories of fat.
