View Full Version : Well, is it worth it to put the time into looking like a woman tonight?

Yes, the Pink Fog descends upon me...but I have worked a long day, and I am tired.

I just want to be.....

but part of me wants to put the effort into passing.

Sure, I could put effort into making myself pass more... but I need to get some rest.

I am lost between the reflections out there...

and the reflections in here...

If you are staying home you can look like a man in a dress.
You can look at yourself in the mirror and lie to yourself to your heart's content.

If you go out it is rewarding when you have put the effort into it.
Have a nice evening, whatever you choose.

Hi Taylor,
Do whatever will make you feel more like you.
If that's spending time to get dressed up and having that wonderful "oh my god, I'm a girl - and I pretty one at that!" moment when you see your own reflection then spend the time.
if that's curling up and getting a good night's rest so you can maybe do it tomorrow instead, then do that.
either way I hope you have a wonderful night.

Good lord I've felt that so many times over the years. I always worked in a very physical trade, and came home worn out most of the time, and that draw between wanting to dress, and just being to darn tired to bother, the stresses of being born a CD.

It's been weeks for me...a lot of dirty work that keeps popping up and I'm
just too tired at the end of the day.

But, new stuff is here and time will come before I know it, so there's Much
to look forward to. Luckily I can work in my girl jeans and tops, so that keeps
me happy enough for the time being. ♥

Taylor, that was so simple but so encompassing! I second Tina--I feel that way often (though I haven't gone out)! Even from just dressing around the house, I go through those feelings. Also, when I know I need to go somewhere, like the grocery store, I can end up like a deer in the headlights trying to decide if it's worth it to change clothes back and forth. Often either going to the store or dressing gets put off until tomorrow...!

For me? No. I don't want dressing to ever be an effort. Rather, a joy!

And, it's all or nothing for Sherry. Throwing on a few bits and pieces just isn't as exciting as it was when I first began dressing 16 years ago. I want to see a pretty woman in my mirror. Not a bald man in a bra with the tops of his breast forms showing!
