I have some that do, I got them from the three month pharmacy, but the ones I get at Walgreens do not smell like anything.

Drug manufactures use different fillers in their products all the time. As long as it doesn't smell like poop you have it made.

Yes they do. A friend of mine with access to detailed drug databases for doctors looked up spirolactone for me a couple of months ago. The ingredients can be a bit frightening. One of them is peppermint, which is probably the most innocent of the ingredients.

Yes! It definitely has a minty taste too which packs a punch if you're taking it with a morning tea.

Mine are also vaguely minty smelling. But I can tell you that they sure don't taste like mint! If those pills aren't down in a a few seconds after hitting my mouth that taste is going to be with me for hours… And it isn't mint.

I know they get nasty bitter really fast but when you take and swallow there is a faint mint taste just from the passage over the tongue

Negative on the pepper mint smell, and no changes noted in the overall smell since going on the spiro. I'll refrain from posting all the thoughts that are popping up in my mind in regards to this fragrances, taste's, bouquet, etc. in this matter.:o

I forgot how bad they do smell, just went over to jess's spiro and yes it smells like peppermint.

My Avodart looked like cod liver oil and smelled like Cleveland. (It worked though, and I'd love to be back on it.)

Mine are mint sorta but fails to cover up the yuk! They can't stay in my mouth very long before I am stuck with an aftertaste that is what I imagine house paint to have. It can't be necessary. Whats wrong with a nice smooth sugar coating? I mentioned the foul taste to the pharmacist and he advised me to have a dry mouth and get it down as fast as possible.

Mine have always been minty tasting and I've been taking them for 10+ years.
Just about any prescription med has a horrible taste and is coated with something that masks the flavor.
