I started HRT, 23 December 2013. It has been some of the happiest times of my life so far.

I attend a great support group weekly and have made some great friends.

The hormones affected me emotionally almost right away and the calming effect is great. A few crying spells too though..

Two weeks ago, I started feeling the soreness and tenderness in my chest. I know it is early, but I have some small amount of growth. Feels great.

I have also noted softening skin and much less oily skin.

Yesterday was my 2 month Dr Visit. My family doctor for 20 years. She is great. My Estrogen is now at 424 :), Testosterone at 400 (Too high yet). She adjusted both the Estrodiol and Spirolactone. Next visit in three months.

While not full time at work, my boss and HR know and are prepared. They said I can do things on my schedule which is great.

The picture is me this weekend before going out to eat and shop with some girlfriends..

The journey continues....

Congratulations on such tangible results after two months, Susanna66. I was on HRT for two months before medical issues (not caused by HRT!) arose that made it inadvisable for me to continue until they resolve. But those two months were heaven! Like you, I felt calm and grounded, and was looking forward to my new life with great optimism--not my accustomed mood. I am getting on in years, so although I had some tenderness in my breasts, I had no growth to speak of in such a relatively short time, despite the manual encouragement I gave them.

On the whole, I felt that HRT was worth a ton of blood-pressure pills and tranquilizers; and I'm hoping that some reputable outfit will run clinical trials to determine whether the clotting effects of estrogen and progesterone are not more than offset by the massive reduction in stress that occurs for a true MTF transsexual.

Enjoy yourself!

Congrats! You do look very happy.
And thanks for the idea that part of the reason for coming to bosses and HR first is so they will "be prepared"; I will definitely incorporate the "so you can be prepared" verbiage when I come out to my bosses and my HR person.
