Wishes and Regrets

Hi girls!

So I was thinking about this today while at work. WHat are some of your biggest wishes about dressing up?

Also, what are some of your biggest regrets of dressing?

I'll start with the bad first. So I was dressed to the 9s one day, video chatting with dressers and admirers in a chat room and I got to a personal chat with one of them. She was so kind and filled me with compliments. I told her that I had gone and bought some cute heels earlier to wear with my outfit of the day and I showed her the heels. I told her that I went in drab. She was telling me how cute I looked and strongly encouraging me to go back to the store in girl mode. She was really laying it on too. She sent me an email telling me to email her back telling her how it went. I got my purse and threw in all te essentials (phone, wallet, lip gloss, keys) and was really getting myself up to do it. I was sooooooo nervous. I must have walked out the front door and locked it like 10 times but I backed out last minute. I never did email her back. I wish I were more open and confident. I would have loved to gone back there and shown her the shoes with my outfit and had some girl talk. It would have been so much fun. I wish I could relive that moment.

Another regret would be that I wish I didn't purge my favorite pair of victorias secret pink polka dot thong (my first VS purchase too! :sad: )


Now for wishes, I wish I were more confident when I had more time to dress. I would have gone out more and even shopped en femme and bought more femme pieces for myself. I should have pampered my girly side. I also wish I could pull off Rachel Bilson's many looks on Hart of Dixie.

Hi Tamma,

My one regret is not starting sooner when I was younger and made a much more pretty girl. Dressed completely once at 17 and never again until 32 years later. Ah . . . to have that time back.

Wishes . . . long life and health for me and my wife. I know sounds all gushy but there is a "selfish side" to this wish . . . perhaps scientists will figure out how to turn the clock back for us older gals to enjoy CDing like we never could in our day.

BTW, you have a lovely avatar and a very femme look. Going in public is daunting and don't be forced into going out until you are ready. You'll know when it is time and will just walk out the door and never look back. If you never do and stay indoors, if you are happy then that is cool as well.

When we regret something it's like our safe guard comes out and usually our safe guard is there to protect us from hurting ourself or getting hurt. It usually right, maybe if you did go to the shoe store you would have seen someone and got outed and it still would have been a regret. For me it was a slip I had stolen from a girl I worked with. When she was coming into work I noticed her slip was showing and the lace was beautiful, she got changed for work and on break I went into the ladies change room a took it, it was so beautiful it was like pure silk, I threw it out on a purge and boy I wish I had that one back. Another small regret was I was at my sister in laws house and a few years back on halloween we all got dressed up and we went house hopping, of course I was dressed as a prostitute and we went to my sister in laws mothers house and she loved how good I looked that night. The night at my sister in laws I was sitting next to her mother and it was a family gathering and she was telling everyone how good I looked as a women a few years back and then asked me to dress again to show everyone how good I looked and asked her daughter if it was OK if I wore her cloths and if she would dress me up, she said no problem. I told her I wouldn't do it, and again she was pushing telling my sister in law to get a short skirt to show of those amazing legs . Well bottom line I didn't do it and I really regretted it. I would have love just the thought of wearing my sister in laws cloths she has great taste.
