Funny occourance with a friends wife.

I've know this couple for a long time and I'm sure his wife has wondered about me for years because I wear girls jeans,tops and shoes.
Its a normal sight these days.
I went to their house to buy a guitar off her husband.
He said you can stay in your car I'll go grab the guitar.I said sure no problem.
10 seconds later his wife says hey how are you come give me a hug I haven't seen you in a while.So I do and we walk inside.
She was showing me her new puppies and talking to me like I was a GF.
Saying isn't this puppy soo cute and thats a cute top you have on I love the color combination.
We talked about the puppies and she puts them back in their pens.
I do the guitar deal with my friend and we chat a bit more then she says ... your hair has gotten soo long you should let me braid it for you some time.
She said turn around let me tweak that one stray curl for you.
She stated talking a mile a minute on what I could do with my hair and said I should get it highlighted.
My friend just looked confused LOL.
So I got up to leave and she says you know for a guy you have nice hair so smooth and soft.
I said thanks I condition it and do hot oil treatments sometimes
My friend said dude we have to get back to the shop so we leave and head back to my car.
On the drive back he laughed and said see what I have to live with?
I laughed and said women I can't figure them out either.
Little did he know I enjoyed myself LOL.

Probably wouldn't phase him to be honest but I dress more androgynous anyway so not a huge leap to figure out I might be a CD.

right now my hair is shoulder length and mostly gray but is curly and i have had women wink and tell me they hate me cause my hairs so much nicer (probably curlier) than theirs

Sounds like the wife was gently probing to me but what the hell. It's only a small step to advance from androgynous to crossdresser, so no big reveal either if the question is asked. A nice situation to be in quite honestly.
