Went out dressed for the second time today. Went into four establishments.. Had to talk more than the first time out. What do most of you gurls do when out.. Try a femme voice, or just go with what you have naturally?

Well, I wish I could go out like you say.
Sometimes I pump gas all dressed, but get scared to death when another person pulls up to the pumps!

Well Babbs there is a whole spectrum of femme to male voices one could have. I do try to soften my voice and give it a more emotive content. I have yet to perfect a femme voice. Given the fact that there are lots of different GG's voices, I dont worry so much about it. I certainly go out of my way not to give it the whole male voice. But then again I am not the greatest looking woman in the world anyway so I am not going to do a lot of convincing anyway.
I do avoid the oldest and obviously fake femme voice known as falsetto.

I tend to moderate my voice a bit. I use less masculine words as well. Gestures while speaking also help to create the feminine mystique.

I just soften it a bit. I have always had a high pictch to my voice so I just try to relax. I feel so happy and natural when out that I don't concentrate on it too much. I think the more you go out the less you will even think about it.

Yeah, me too. I also try to talk softer, but I also like to laugh! When I do, I somehow manage to get everybody's attention in the room. Oh well, what's a girl to do?

The voice, maybe one of the hardest parts of crossdressing. Talking really makes me nervous

I just talk normally. If I tried a more effeminate voice I'm sure that would sound ridiculous! I find that as long as you are dressed well people are receptive to you anyway. Here in Auckland anyway. Cool place to live for folks like us to be honest.
