you girls are too funny! Joan of Arc was burned at the cross, and her main sin was dressing as a man. Later, however, the church backed off a bit, so I don't think that it ranks as a sin with the Catholic church. I am not Catholic, so can't speak with authority. I don't go to church, but I feel that I follow Christian principles, and I certainly don't feel sinful when I am CDing. I don't see how it hurts anyone. I get drunk from time to time, and that is probably more sinful than wearing a bra and lace panties. Female impersonators are revered in some societies. wenda.

Well that is a sin. To think of wasting a perfectly good female body be dressing it in men's clothes!

I always think things like wrong/right good/bad etc are so subjective. In the case of CDing I don't think it's wrong, but some (many) others probably do. I know I'll never be "cured" of it and anyone who says they are is a stronger woman than me. :p So I think it all depends on what you think.
I don't go to church, but I feel that I follow Christian principles, and I certainly don't feel sinful when I am CDing. I don't see how it hurts anyone.
I think Wenda got it right. I try to live by Christian or moral principles even though I don't consider myself overly "religious". And I also don't see it as hurting others in any way really if I keep it to myself largely -- as I do -- so why should I be unhappy to satisfy someone elses morals?

Is it sinful to CD?
I asked her {god} and she said "no".
Of course not silly! The 11th commandment doesn't say, "Thou shalt not covet thy wife's wardrobe." Sinning to me is being hateful or hurtful to yourself or others. I don't see how putting on clothes of another 'gender' classifies as sin.

Are you referring to the quote from the bible that is used so often to condemn crossdressers? The one that is located very close to another used to condemn homosexuality? If you want to follow the word of the bible, then you will also have to stone disobedient and disrespectful children. It says to do that right in the same place.

Honestly and truthfully.. For anyone to ask is it sinful to CD. Hmmm.. I have a question for everyone, Is it sinful to wear clothing period? , My opinion is as simple as this, We are not defined by what we wear, what we look like, In the end when all is said an done, We are defined for WHO we are? Are we good people, Haven't we always been nice to the next person?
I think its sinful not to CD, because we would be denying ourselves happiness just to please the masses...
"Its not the things we say, But the things we haven't said which means the most" peace.

I'm still a Christian when dressed, meaning I'm faithful to my wife, behave appropriately and with dignity, respect others, and don't deceive others.
If you abandon your beliefs when dressed, are they truly your beliefs?... The sin would not be in what you're wearing, but what you do/think while wearing it...

Exactly what i'm saying, God does not discriminate people bcuz of what they wear.. As long as you do the right things in life, You will be alright..
i believe that the world is free and we should all be free in it.

Is it sinful to CD?Well, Ya... it is a sin if you dress up in women's clothing and rob a bank. (It really happened here... and he got away, too!!!)
If you dress up like a woman and steal a nice automobile... that's definitely a sin. If you steal an old Hyundai... that's stupid!
If you dress up like your mother and stab a woman to death in the shower... you're probably a Psycho... and it's an unforgivable sin if you watch the colorized version!!!
If you're sitting around in your panties and spending more than two hours at the computer... that's sinful and you need to consider "getting a life"! (Okay... I confess... I'm online for at least three hours a night... and I do need to get a life!!!)
If you are fully and fashionably dressed... that's wonderful. Post some pics!!!
So... CDing is not sinful... it's what you do after you are dressed that determines if you committing a sin or not.

Is it sinful to CD?
You sound like the way I did. I grew up with a strong religious family, where if you missed church on a sunday its a sin :(
If you don't give to the church, its sin:confused:
If you cross your hands while making a face while sticking your toung out (on a holy day),it's a sin to god and you'll make the angels cry.
My point is, a lot of people have different interpretations for what's good or bad and the lines changes over the years.
Is CDing is a sin? My answer is no.

:D Reminds me of the arguments with my parents about long hair. We'd say, "But Jesus had long hair!". Next thing you know, we've got "white walls" and wear slacks and wing tips to school!
My point is, it's all relative! Free societies are always changing and growing, and that really is the beauty of the USA, regardless of some of the really off the wall behavior. After all, it was off the wall the said the world was round, or the universe did not revolve around the earth ... breaking new ground there Copernicus!

From what I've heard to SIN means to "miss the mark" apparently it's an archery term, meaning you didn't even hit the target, much less the bull's eye. When you understand this, the Bible takes on a clearer meaning.
It bothers me that people go around saying "X is a sin, Y isn't." "Y" may be a sin for me, but not for you. Clearly some things are sins for all, i.e. murder.
As Christians, our focus is to be on God/Jesus. Anything that takes priority over that is a sin. So, your job/hobby/computer/etc. could all be sins... Don't think that because you've kept the 10 commandments means you're not sinning...
Only you can really determine if CDing is a sin for you. If it's leading you or others to sinful activity, then yes, it is a sin. If it's harmless clean fun, then it's not.
And Christians must also understand that these are guidelines for us, not the non-believers...

good points, and the old testament is a fair bit more judgemental than the new, which are the reports by the apostles of Christ's take on things. In any of my discussions with God, I have to admit that cross dressing ever came up. My poor grandmothers would shit, and think I was on a oneway hand cart to hell, but as others have nicely put it, one girls sin is another girls pleasure. wenda.

another touchy subject. Well, in my opinion its not. I've asked god why this happened to me or why that happened and in my opinion god just gives advice to those who listen. he does not have this all mighty power to make everything happen the way you want it to be. all he can do is advise and watch, and hope we do the right thing. god would never punish his children for wanting to be what they whated to be, he tried his best at birth but sometimes things go wrong and you get the wrong body or mind, birth defects, and all the other problems that can happen when birthed. he tries his best, but sometimes he messes up because he made us out of his own image so there will be mistakes. whatever god you belive in will always love you and hope you make the right choices in life with what he (or she) gave you. besides maybe god put you in a man body with a womans mind so you learn a valuable lesson here on earth so you can help others in your postion. please do not worry about churches for they are closed minded, and take the bible to seriously. they say if you do this or that you will go to hell, no god would want that for his children, no matter what faith you belive in. Do not worry about what the christens say about you dressing, let them belive in what they want and you belive in what you want for god will love all of us for we are humans and we are here for a mission for which we do not remember. For us who are here on this site, maybe it is our mission to help those who are closed minded to see the beuty that we have and make this world better for those who follow us latter. Thank you for your time.

I have to agree. Society does present the biggest harm to us. But that is a choice that we have made and a risk that we take every time that we slip into our choosec outfit of the day.
For me I don't believe that cding is a sin. I simply believe that God choose to make me this way for a reason that is not yet clear to me. I just hope that I will one day find that reason or at least complete the task that he has set for me so that when my time comes I can go to the next life in the knowledge that I live well and died free.

Dare I say it ...... man created God to justify Society's actions, from the Old Testament onwards. So anything that Society doesn't approve of becomes a sin. :(

Well if you cook a hot meal for your children in winter on a sunday that is a sin. You must do no work on God's Sunday so let the kids die of hungar and cold. Now personaly I would say that would be a sin, but Bible pushers would disagree with me.
Sunday: Winter; the fuse burns out, is it a sin to change it?
Its just clothes we gave it a gender.
Was it not wrong in the first place to wear clothes?
So we should follow God and be naked!
Rest assured dress as you please soft feminine petticoats full skirts high heels and relax your mind. In every 10th house a guy is doing what you are doing being comfortable in a skirt.
Now I'm NOT gay but even animals are Gay. True its decided in the womb before you are born. Its not learned or a virus.
Crossdressing: Perhaps just because we love feminine things; Because we like the feel, Because we love women so much we wish to be one? What the hell does it matter?
Just think yourself lucky and enjoy every minute your in a dress. Life is short it is your life enjoy it to the full. Wearing a skirt is nothing like killing a fox for fun.
We kill take the skin and wrap it around us-Skirt. Till we learned to sew two legs-trousers. Most likely because it was better to ride a horse.
Girls can be TOMBOYS! Boys can be JANEGIRLS! Girls only have a female gene boys have a male and female gene. So what do you think is going to happen?
Who cares? Just let your feminine side out to have fun. Buy her a dress relax and rest your mind. Enjoy your femininity and give your feminine side a female name and let her out to enjoy her life. You are lucky to have another side to your male persona.
NO ITS NOT A SIN!
