Hi everyone!
I'm ending a weekend in Vegas having a Mai Tai at the Rio.
This is my 1st time here 'en femme'.
Of course I'm dressed...black skirt, pattern blouse, black felt pumps. Some dancing would be nice!
I spent some time with another sister, we had a good time visiting and exploring clothing styles.

People are everywhere having a good time. as they should be.
It iis a good feeling to be here relaxing and being myself.

CHEERS ALL!

Sounds like great fun. I'm beginning to see "getting out" as the joy of social interaction rather than the adrenaline rush of daring to do something forbidden.

Hi Carmen, I'm glad that what happened in Vegas didn't stay in Vegas.

Yes Lynn, we move on from the thrillseeker things to the practical things.
Yes it is still a thrill to walk into a crowded casino and weave your way amongst the crowds.
But I am a girl on a mission and I blend in and move along.
I sat at the bar talking to the bartender and the barhop...both very attractive GG's.
We talked about our tolerance levels for wearing heels all day long. They both looked at my mild 3 inch heels.
And we all agreed about the amount of work required to look especially pretty.

Here's a selfie that I took at the bar at the Rio.
I shut off the flash to avoid glare and attracting attention so that is why the photo is somewhat dark.

Sounds like a fantastic time, Carmen - Vegas is definitely up there on my bucket list.... I just worry if I ever go I may not want to leave...

Thanks for sharing that experience... :cheer:

Hi Carmen,

It sounds like you had a great time just being out and about. So you explored clothing stores but did you buy anything?

Hugs

Isha

Katey,
What's a girl to do! I have to be in Vegas often on business...sooooo of course I do make the most of it.
Let me know when you get to that item on your bucket list, perhaps we can meet and have a party or two or three or....

Hi Isha,
I scored that faux black leather jacket that I'm wearing in the photo...including that print blouse and an above the knee narrow black/grey skirt in black. My friend said that the combo made me look like some execs 'professional asistant', smart looking and sexy.
You can't see it but she also lent me a beautiful pearl necklace with matching clip-on earings from her extensive collection.

The real deals were at Kohls. Talk about developing a shopping addiction!
I had to find strapless bra's in black and ivory, but of course I ended up with several more styles in my size that just jumped off of the clearance rack at me!
This Chaps one-piece color block dress was the find of the month!
It fits me perfect! And it's my first red dress! Very form fitting and cozy. I'm hoping to wear it out on the town soon. but now I need shoes...any suggestions?

When I first saw that red and black dress, I thought it was a Star Trek TNG uniform! Ha! We're caught up with the future!!

When I first saw that red and black dress, I thought it was a Star Trek TNG uniform! Ha! We're caught up with the future!!

Yeah I hadn't realized that until now...:bonk:
I think hers looks one size too big.
When I model it then we'll see who wears it better.

Or I could use it for Halloween! Those Trek girls absolutely rock!
